벤프 3박4일 여행했습니다.
차량에 기름냄새가 많이났으며 3일차 때는 최고시속을 80km정도 밖에 내지 못해 뒷 차를 피하느라 갓길에 차를 세우며 어렵게 벤프에서부터 레벨스토크로 내려왔습니다. 바로 다음날 차량교체를 했음에도 문제가 발생했습니다. (여행 중 차량을 총 2번 교체함)

차량이용시간이 많은 여행이다보니 차량에 문제가 있어서 여행일정에도 영향을 미쳤습니다. 안내받은 일정표에서 수행하지 못한 부분도 있었고, 자유시간이 너무 조금 주어져서 즐길 시간이 없었습니다.

다음 여행자 분들을 위해서 꼭 차량점검을 하시기 바랍니다.

학부때부터 모시던 교수님의 퇴임여행으로 3박4일 밴쿠버에서 출발하는 록키서부 투버를 예약하였습니다. 제가모시는 팀 5명 이외에 7명 총 12명이 떠나는 여행에서 출발하자마자 매연이 차에 들어오는 고장난 차를 탔습니다. 마스크를 쓰고 옷을 얼굴에 가리고 이동을 했습니다. 가이드분께 말씀 드렸지만 디젤에서 나는 냄새라며 괜찮다고 하셨습니다. 2박3일 아침부터 저녁 이동 내내 폐가 너무 아프고 목도 아프고 눈도 아팠지만 여행을 망치지 않기 위해 참고 또 참았습니다. 지인의 도움으로 하루 먼저 밴프에서 아웃을 하였고 그 차는 돌아가는 길에 퍼졌다고 합니다. 주말동안 몸이 아파서 연락을 드렸습니다. 매니저란 사람은 이런 큰 문제가 있다는 것을 알면서도 모르는 척 하고 컴플레인을 들을려고 하지도 않고 책임자(새로온 신입)에게 떠넘기는 모습을 보였습니다. 몇시간 후 담장자와 통화가 되었고 이런일이 생겨 죄송하다며 상황을 이해했고 사장님과 확인 후 최대한 보상을 할 수 있게 도와주겠다고 약속을 했습니다. 얼마있지 않아 사장님께 전화가 왔습니다. 진정한 사과와 적절한 보상이 필요해 요청했지만 이미 사정을 많이 봐줬고 회사가 이 여행을 통해 손해를 보게 되었다며 저희보고 아픔을 감수하라고 합니다.
자동차가 출발하는 날 부터 문제가 있었다는 것을 인지하지 못하고 있었으며 상황을 설명하니 왜 매연을 첫날부터 말하지 않았느냐며 회사의 잘못은 인정한다면서도 보상은 해줄 수 없다고 합니다.
우리는 컴플레인 후 가이드분께서 디젤차라 그런거라고 거짓말을 했다고 말씀을 드렸지만 이야기가 통하지 않았습니다. 60대 어르신들도 많이 계셨는데 다들 건강에 무리가 될 정도로 매연이 차에 가득...
다들 아파서 모든 여행일정 취소하고 숙소에서 쉬고만 있습니다. 모든 여행이 의미가 있지만 퇴임하신 어르신을 모시고 이 먼 곳 캐나다까지 와서 이런 일을 겪으니 마음이 많이 꺽입니다.
누구나 겪을 수 있는 일이라 생각합니다. 어떻게 그 상황을 대처하는지가 중요한대 여러분도 겪을 수 있어요. 절대 가면 안되는 곳입니다.

극한의 체험이였습니다. 자동차 매연이 너무 심해서 마스크 끼고 3박4일 여행했네요... 캐리어를 자동차 트렁크에 놓지 않고, 좌석에 보관해서 자리도 좁고..(과거 트렁크 열러서 캐리어가 망가졌다고 현지 지인이 알려주더라구요) 좀 힘들었습니다. 벤프여행하실때 대형버스, 안전한버스가 아니면 가지마세요.. 꼭 확인하시고 여행하시길 바랍니다. 가이드, 회사 서비스 모두 불만족스러운 여행이였습니다. 참고하세요.. 생각보다 별점이 높아서 놀랐네요...

FRAUDULENT AND NOT RESPONSIVE!!! Don't bother calling the Seattle branch, it's closed down!! We used their services to book us airline tickets to S.Korea. There was a discrepancy in the number of tickets we needed and what we received. We tried to reach out after finding out we were given the wrong number of tickets after already being charged. The number is disconnected! We tried going to the physical office located in Federal Way. The office is closed!! We tried calling their toll-free number from their website NUMEROUS times. They never gave us a straight answer to help us. "We're located in Canada, try calling the Seattle branch. We will try to find out what happened, we will contact you back. We will give you a manager's number, try calling them". They never contacted us after months of waiting even though they said they would (now too late to find any extra seats on our own because the flight is full). The number they gave us doesn't work, nobody picks up. What kind of business is this? This travel agency claims no accountability and not even an offer for a refund for the agent fee EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO AGENT! I'm reporting this business to the BBB as well.

I completely agree with Alex K. When the office is closed, they are supposed to let current customers knowThey never paid attention to their current office customers and wasted both time and money.
This is very unprofessional. Why did we contact the travel center instead of purchasing the tickets ourselves?
It's because they promised to help us find a better ticket option and create an open ticket for our return journey.
They assured us that we could change the date, and they would assist us. As you may know, elders find it challenging to navigate online platforms and apps.
However, they didn't provide the assistance they promised, and then they closed their office. We tried contacting another location, but they were equally unhelpful.
This isn't just our experience. other elderly individuals face the same issues. I completely understand Alex K's frustration. We feel very upset because it's their responsibility to assist us, but they showed no accountability.
In the future, I would rather purchase tickets myself. I'm sorry to say this, but this is exactly what happened.
