Stayed here for a night,Clean room clean towels.Very friendly staff! Would have been nice to have more breakfast options.However that's not a big deal to me I usually stay in a Hotel because of the place to sleep and not the food?My Husband and i played a few rounds of Pool ? aswell as ping pong,Was alot of fun!! We enjoyed our stay♡Thankyou for Your Service!

To be honest, it did look a little sketchy. I have to admit, the service I received was good. The room was very clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and very quiet. It was close to the highway and amenities. I would consider another stay...

We are moving to Melfort and have to wait a few weeks for renovations to be completed in our new house. We called ahead and told the man on the phone our story, that we would be staying for a few weeks. He said he would offer us a discounted rate of $500 a week. So we made our budget for the month around this rate. We showed up to check in at 4pm and couldn't find anyone for half an hour. We pressed the call button, phoned the office, wandered around. When he eventually showed up, he told us that they never offer such discounts and demanded we pay the daily rate. We ended up cancelling and going across the road to the Carra Valla Inn, where the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The pool is closed for "maintenance", but it looks like it hasn't been open in ages. The lobby has a constant leak, and I walked past one open room that likely had a leak, because they were running dehumidifiers with the roots and windows open.

Do not be afraid! Rooms were dated, but clean and comfortable. I left the fan on at night for some white noise. The front desk staff were helpful, warm and friendly. The other hotel is fine too, but long live affordable, simple options - especially for quaint towns.

Rooms need some serious updates. Wall paper peeling off, worn down couch and rug, uneven floors and worst of all no fitted sheet on the bed.

Repulsive and extremely unsanitary that there are not fitted sheets on the beds so when you wake in the am your laying on bare matress

This hotel should not be in service. The Staff member running it is completely unprofessional and has no customer service skills what so ever. He was hard to find when assistance with room was required. Found him smoking at front entrance doorway. He argued with me when I asked why not all channels worked on cable TV. The brochure in room indicated channels which weren't there. He proceeded to tell me to call the cable company rather than resolve the problem. He went as far as to tell me to leave the hotel. If you are planning to stay in melfort I'd look no further than the Canalta. If they are full. Stay in a different town as the Bluebird isn't worth your time or money.

Was initially worried about previous reviews. Checked the beds, cleanest I've seen while out working. Everything works in the room, proper power splitters for easy plug ins not having to sacrifice a couple lights for outlet spots. Key-card access to the room, friendly Staff member at the front desk. Rooms are a bit dated but nothing out of the ordinary for a smaller town and the room seems kept well and clean. Free wifi with around 105 ping - 25mb download and 40mb upload which is pretty decent included with the room. Overall very happy
