Although I do feel the need to keep my review because it still occurred, the owner has been very helpful through this and has worked to rectify the situation. My level of harshness was definitely heat of the moment and I do appreciate the effort that is being put in. Flamingo has been a staple in our household for years and knowing that they care about customer concerns and want to better their restaurant says a lot about the ownership because many others wouldn’t do the same. I would still recommend flamingo as it is arguably the best restaurant in town and I’ve never had a bad experience with them until recently and I greatly appreciate their effort.

Getting real sick of spending $120+ dollars for terrible food. If you’re that busy and can’t handle it, don’t expand your menu.

We are regular customers spending good money, and last time I ordered I got salads that were the visual equivalent of algae. Ordered again last night, and got bright pink chicken wings.

It’s pretty sickening when a restaurant is greedy enough to not give you refills on your drinks, and then to go ahead and expand the menu when they already can’t handle making the food originally on it. The rest of the food was mediocre and they have made the portions smaller, especially for what you’re paying. Flamingo used to be a great place to eat, but now I would not waste your time unless food poisoning and slop are on your menu.

I always keep forgetting about posting about this place.
But they have the best homemade honey garlic, dill dip, and stuffed potatoes I’ve had through my time between Saskatchewan and Ontario.
It applies to many other foods, but either way, worth a trip to get that comfort food you crave <3

Don't order the specials. Chicken finger special today was 1 dollar off and only came with one side. But the regular came with fries and caesar salad. Not impressed 3 baby chicken fingers and fries For 17 dollars. Seems like I was eating a kids meal. still hungry and not satisfied. Definitely won't be back

We had our family reunion catered by the Flamingo restaurant. The food was amazing. I am celiac and they went the extra mile to ensure the food was safe for me to eat. Highly recommend! ?

Dolores made us feel right at home. Restaurant has a warm friendly feeling and the portions are very generous and the prices very reasonable. I definite must eat at again.

Better ask em to put butter chicken on the menu. The rib eye was definitely poop. Better off chewing on horse hide. Might be easier to chew than the medium rare.

One of the most amazing servers we have met! Delores was cheerful, friendly, full of manners, smiles and an overall fantastic experience! Will definitely be back!
