This is a hidden gem!

Situated at the end of Chestermere Lake, away from the bustling boat launch and public beach front lies this little piece of tranquility that only locals know.

The water is low for a couple meters out but slopes deep enough for canoes and paddleboards to explore onwards. The sandy space is small, but plenty for the families to peruse the park.

There is space for small birthday parties and a cool pirate play area. Porta potties are situated at the entrance.

Parking is street only, but due to the lack of popularity, it's perfect. Everything about this little hidden gem is perfect. What a lovely place!

It was one of the beautiful park and great for kids and babies. It's a combination of man-made beach and a playground. Kids will definitely enjoy this place. Not crowded as well.

Cute little beach (with actual real life sand!), with backyards backing right onto it. But, like almost all beaches and parks in this province, there is little to no shade. So bring your own shade tents/umbrellas and plenty of sunscreen. The swimming area is relatively clear and free of weeds and things that might put off the little ones.

Great little spot, out of the masses. Little beach for younguns with roped off area for deeper water. 2 playareas for the tikes. Also not a bad fishing spot for us. Grandson caught one both times we've been.

Love the pirate ship feel to this park. This park is designed for older kids and has a sidewalk all the way around so great for bikes and scooters. Next to the beach there is a younger kid friendly park. I will say even at a young age all my kids love the big shipwreck park. Also the little shallow beach is great for the littles. Downsides are the mosquitos and other bugs....because the water is pretty stagnant near the beach. Also my kids love the ground hogs that are everywhere up on the hill next to the park. Also downside can be very windy.
