I had a fantastic stay at the Lazy J Motel. The facility was clean and comfortable, and the water temperature and pressure in the shower was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good with a variety of options to start the day right.

What really stood out to me was how the innkeeper went above and beyond when my vehicle was broken into during the stay. They were incredibly kind, offering video surveillance footage to assist, providing some repair materials, and even generously refunding a night of our stay. Their support made a tough situation much easier to handle. I highly recommend the Lazy J Motel for anyone looking for a place where both the accommodations and customer care are top-notch

For the price this was way above what we expected.. The rooms and beds very comfortable.. and the contential breakfast amazing.. Everything was above our expectations..For those traveling there is a laundry mat on site.. thank you to the family that owns and runs this motel..Mike and Lynda

This place has a great location just a short walk from the centre of town. Room was fine, although there were a couple of negative points - the sink didn’t work so I had to use the bath to get water for toothbrushing etc, and there was a large aircon unit that made loud scraping sounds even though it was switched off. I quite liked the continental breakfast and the folks were friendly too. The room cost $98 including taxes.

We stayed in two of the Lazy J's suites for five nights. Both rooms were clean, had plenty of towels and the beds/pillows were comfortable.
We never ran out of hot water and the shower had excellent pressure.

The Lazy J is an older property that doesn't look like much from the outside, but you won't be disappointed with your stay.

While it may not look like much to some experienced travelers, this hotel is comfortable, charming, clean, quiet and welcoming. Probably one of the best showers I've ever experienced, having lots of pressure and great instant hot water. The room had almost everything we needed for our overnight stay including bath sheets for you (not just a tiny bath towel).. It's close to restaurants and local shopping. If there was a hair dryer in the room I would have given it 5 stars. We would definitely stay here again.
