The campground is managed by Melissa and her wonderful family! They are such a treasure & we believe that is what makes the Rosebud Campground such a special place to stay! Our original booking had to be extended a few times due to unforeseen circumstances. Melissa & her husband were very accommodating!

This quaint campground is a definite jewel! The camping spots are large enough to provide privacy and the sites have full service hookups. The prices are approximately $37/night. Showers, a charming gazebo, playground & bathrooms are on site! Both men’s & women’s washrooms were clean, had change tables for those with children in diapers. On the vanity in both washrooms, was a basket with items such a hairspray, makeup sponges, deodorant, toothpaste and various other items for both genders.

The grounds were very well maintained! Other campers were friendly , waved, said hello or popped by for a chat! The campground had the ambiance of a small community!

Location was great, just a 5 minute ride into friendly Didsbury for your local shopping needs.

Thank you again Melissa and family, we can’t wait to return next year!

Sincerely, Ricky & Marilyn

We had a great experience! The site was large and the park was well maintained. We are looking forward to staying there again! The washrooms were very clean and the location was perfect - within walking distance of everything in town (including Dairy Queen, Tim Hortons and the grocery store). We heard very little highway noise.

The host Phil was amazing as a fellow businessman i appreciate that he went above & beyond to accommodate me & my dog. Although the season is over he accommodated us for the night which was awesome. I would highly recommend anyone to check this site out if there were more than 5 stars I would give them more.

Stayed there from Oct/22 to Sept/23 and I enjoyed the location as it was central for our needs. With the seasonal residents there we met some nice people who are friends today but I have to say when it comes to Melissa who is supposed to be the manager of the place if you want gossip, slander and outright lies being told about certain people this woman takes it all. If at all possible please avoid this campground until new management is put in place. We've been gone for almost 1 year and I'm still hearing slanderous things that she keeps telling the residents.
The resident cat is allowed to use the kids sandbox as its personal litterbox. Being as there is no sewer at the sites make sure to take a flashlight at night if one needs to go to the bathroom because there can be toys left laying around. One night I stepped on some sidewalk chalk and almost rolled my ankle. The train does pass through town at all times of the day and night and does blow its whistle. Only other thing to be aware of is if there is a torrential rain the campground is surrounded on all sides by roads which act like a berm. We got flooded one day and needed a sump pump to get rid of the water.

To be honest not great location. The trains and cars kept on all day and train horned throughout the night. ||We had a friend we were joining that had arrived the day prior. As we arrived a storm cloud was rolling in, luckily the campsite was right at the entrance so we quickly pulled into the campsite (on the grass) to unload and move the car somewhere else. Suddenly we (my sister and I) heard someone yelling, it was a lady telling us we can’t park on the grass. I tried to explain that we would move the car in a minute. She continued to yell and to avoid furthering the argument I quickly hopped into the car and moved it. Upon moving it I came across signs that did indeed say “no parking in the grass” but I had not seen them since they were further into the camp. ||We figured that indeed that was probably the camp owner but we had no idea who she was prior since there was no interaction or introduction. We continued to unpack and set up tent when she came back out, accusing us of being entitled and sassy. Threatening to kick us out with no refund. Telling us that check in was at 4pm and we had arrived at 3:45 plus our friend was already checked in the day prior. ||To us this was a lady who came out of no where to yell at us so we were defensive but I did fix the problem within minutes. But she didn’t give us a chance to explain that it was an honest mistake that we hadn’t seen the signs. ||We probably got off on the wrong foot but all day we were on edge and I will never go back.

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD
Absolutely horrible lady yelled at my sister and I as soon as we came in. After saying hello to our friend who checked in the day before for our stay, we drove onto the grass as many other cars were on the grass too. Within just a few seconds of getting out the car to unpack, an older lady yelled at us, saying we had no common sense, called us entitled girls for not reading a sign we didn’t even reach to read.
We moved the car and unpacked ignoring the fact that we got screamed in order to enjoy our stay. While unpacking, the lady came back and continued to accuse us of being sassy and entitled. She even threatened to kick us out. This is when we found out she was probably the camp owner. No introduction was given prior. The lady insulted us, yelled over us, and threatened us with NO REFUND. She even said we weren’t supposed to be there until 4 because that was when check in was but the time we arrived was maybe 3:45 and our friend had already checked in for us the day before which made her statement make no sense. We wanted to leave there and then! And we should’ve because the stay wasn’t worth it.

Location was near highways, train, and buildings that looked like churches. The night was difficult to sleep because the train kept honking and during the day the air was filled with cars zooming by and of course the sound of the train. The lack of trees and open space made it feel I was camping in my BACKYARD. My backyard would actually have been quieter.
The area seemed to be more of a playground because of the amount of toys laying on the ground for children. My friend actually said a group of children walked through her area the day she arrived. Might’ve been a daycare or school trip.

Horrible service, horrible location. If you wanna camp don’t come here.
Over all, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK.

From the fall of 2022 until late summer of 2023 we stayed at this campground. Over the winter my wife helped Melissa keep the washrooms clean and did several other things to help out because Melissa had another job to go to. No pay or incentives were given out but thought that she could use a helping hand. ||Let me tell you that the one thing you don't do is tell Melissa anything because she will tell everyone who'll listen and embellish or outright lie. I didn't need to hear why one got fired from Dairy Queen, why he's not allowed back because he doesn't pay his rent but allowed him back again, or why that guy is moving in because his wife kicked him out because he's not working and I didn't need to know how much you didn't like your co-workers at any of your other jobs.||And then we get told that my dog bit someone in the face and received stitches or we're not allowed back because we yelled at someone and when I read the reviews of the past couple of the months it's Melissa that does all the yelling. ||This used to be a nice little campground for short or long stays aside from not having sewer the amenities are usually quite nice. Check the sandbox before allowing your kids to play in it because Melissa allows Bob the cat to use it as its personal litterbox also take a flashlight if you need a bathroom break at night because the kids leave toys all over and it is pretty easy to trip over one of them.

Had to drop my camper to get work done on my truck. Reserved site #1. Huge lot, very spacious. Men’s Washroom was pretty clean, with 2 showers. The site I was on only had 15amp, no water, but it’s all I needed. Sometimes you hear the train, or the highway but it’s not too bad otherwise. They also have a huge pile of firewood for sale. The site prices are very affordable as well.

Excuse the car, it’s a rental while truck gets some upgrades.
