Petit bed & breakfast charmant et bien situé. Le petit déjeuner inclus mérite au moins une note de 4 sur 5 (presque 5). Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 3 personnes. La 3e personne a dû se contenter d'un lit gonflable. Elle l'a trouvé correct, mais sans plus. Une seule nuitée.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Peg's Place on Fogo Island. The location is great, just across from the harbour. We stayed in one of the rooms which is accessible from the outside, with a small deck and chairs. The room and ensuite was small, but clean and comfortable. Our host, Eileen, was very lovely, and had lots of information about the island. Her breakfasts consisted of eggs made to order, and wonderful home made jams and bread. It was fun eating with the other guests, from all over, and hearing about their adventures.

Stayed at Peg's Place in May. Eileen is a great host and made us feel very welcome!
Homemade breakfast in the morning was a joy. We had a real kitchen party with the other guests. Eileen was quick to point out lots of spots to visit and share local history. A five star for sure!

Comfortable , relaxing , clean B &B. From the moment we arrived Peg made our stay welcoming and enjoyable. The room had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy it was hard to get up. Breakfast was yummy with tons of homemade jam. Centrally located to restaurant and trails.

A cozy room with everything essential. The bedding was a little too colorful for me. The common living room/breakfast room had a nice harbour view. Eileen, the owner, was very nice, and also prepared breakfast for her guests.

A perfect place to stay! The place is quiet and cozy, just feel like a home. This is the best place I’ve been stayed so far. Eileen makes the breakfast for us - homemade bread and jam❤️

They say nothing is perfect. Well Eileen at Pegs Place is darn close. Simple quiet rooms, a cooked to order breakfast, you feel at home and relaxed. Excellent location to access the local hiking trails and artisan shops. Eileen grew up in Fogo and shares a wealth of knowledge about the area. She knows where the music is and is a great host.

This is our third time in 15 years staying at Peg's (actually Ilene's, but it's called Peg's), and it only underscores how wonderful is her hospitality! Fogo Island has become a destination now, with all the publicity, but Peg's has been the same for all these years: warm, friendly, generous, tasty (the breakfast of homemade bread and rolls, with eggs). There is a dining and living space where you can meet the other guests and share experiences.
