A great experience from start to finish. Our host, Derek, was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. For a novice like me, I never once felt like I was out of my league. Plus, the VIEWS from the river were truly incredible. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Derek and his wife were amazing. It's an accessible trip, so you can absolutely bring the family, but even if you're a canoe/kayak veteran, the views are 100% worth it (and you'll still learn something new anyway). It's sightseeing, a guided tour, a training course, and a canoe trip all in one. Incredible.

Derek and Kathy were amazing! We did a canoe trip and we had an incredible time with Derek as our guide. He gave us a quick lesson before we headed out so we felt very comfortable in the canoe. Derek took pictures for us so we did not have to worry about keeping our phones with us. He pointed out various interesting facts about local sites. He was very knowledgeable of the surroundings. Once we finished our trip on the Bow River, Kathy met us and they provided transportation back to our meeting place. Phenomenal people and such an amazing tour. Out of five stars, we would give them 5++++++. Would highly recommend this tour.

The wife and I took a guided tour of the river with Derek who was fantastic. Derek's knowledge of the area was outstanding and very informative.
The actual trip was very safe and super enjoyable indeed.
We highly recommend Derek and his canoe business.

Loved this kayak tour. We are experienced and not beginners but Derek was such a great guide. We went as a family including 3 adult children. We learned a lot and the views are just unbelievable. It’s a gentle ride with some stops. Highly recommend.

Derek was an accommodating and interesting guide and the float was an amazing way to see The Rockies. Did the tour with a couple of hesitant paddlers yet the canoes were super stable and all had a great time. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

After a few days of some strenuous hiking, our family was looking for an opportunity to do something relaxing and to cool off a bit during the recent mini heatwave. The Canmore float trip was just the ticket. Derek keeps the groups small, so he's able to be flexible and make the trip suit your needs. Made for a great afternoon.
