I have lost track of how long I have been going out to Alberta to see Rob and the Ranchland Outfitters gang but it's been long enough for them to become like family to me. Rob and the guys ( and ladies) go above and beyond to make the hunt the most memorable. It is not uncommon to get a limit of ducks and geese in the same morning and get on some bonus snows. They are located in area where you are going to be on the "X", where the waterfowl want to be. You may have to drive up to 30 , 45 or even an hour to get to the spot, but it's well worth it. We've all been on those hunts where you scrap out a bird or 2, I can honestly say because of the work they put in , that's never been the case with these guys. Many hours and miles on the road make sure the "X" is the spot. They also go above and beyond to accommodate and help you to get there. Great example is last year. With no extra charge to us, they drove an extra 3 hours to come pick us up at a different airport to insure we would not miss our first hunt after our flight got messed up. As for the food and accommodations, next to none in my opinion and I have hunted, Ontario, Manitoba , Saskatchewan, and Alberta. Each lodge is more than roomy enough to unwind after each hunt. I promise you will not be disappointed by booking with Ranchland Outfitters.

I've been going 7years in a row and still counting. Most consistent duck and goose hunting I have ever experienced. Year after year it's about as close to a guarantee as you can find and clearly that's because of the work Rob and his guides put in. Food is great and everyone treats you like family.

We booked our hunt 18 months in advance for 9 hunters. We were told that we would hunt in 2 groups, but hunted as 1 in blinds designed for 6 hunters. We would have to drive 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours to get to the place we were hunting, and that puts you in the truck for 6 to 8 hours a day hunting twice a day. We had 4 hunts where we shot a limit of either ducks or geese, never both. 1 hunt where we shot just a few birds, and 1 hunt where we didn't fire a shot. Accommodations were poor. 7 hunters in a small house with only 1 shower, and 2 hunters had to stay in a sparsely furnished apartment. The food was good, but that was about it. I think this outfitter overbooked, and we paid the price. There are plenty of other outfitters in Alberta where you will not have the problems that we did.

This is the #1 best outfit in all of Canada for waterfowl! Had a once in a life time hunting experience that i will never forget! Ranchland has the best food, accommodations, and hunting ive ever experienced and ive been to alot of outfitters! A big thanks to Rob Reynolds and crew!

I've been blessed to hunt with a Rob for
several years now and If you're looking for a duck and Goose hunt of a lifetime look no further Rob and his group work hard and are exceptional and the food is good would recommend.
