The east village pub has a tendancy to be packed most weekends. The music can also be a little loud. The food in both quality and portions is fantastic. I especially love the wings. The food usually comes out well presented with accents like cilantro or carrots. The prices aren't bad and compare to most other pubs in town. Not expensive but not cheap. The drinks are much the same. Very good, and cost about the same as they do at most other bars in town. The table service, especially last night, was great. Quick service and friendly staff. The seats are comfy, and the crowd isn't too rowdy. They play live music and have a decent house sound system. Its easy to see why this place is one of the most popular night spots on the weekend.

I had come up here on business. The staff were more than helpful and accommodating. They ensured I was set for the whole time even after many changes in schedule. They worked hard to ensure I felt at home. The suite itself felt more like an apartment or condo than a hotel room. It made the stay feel much more comfortable. Good beds, kitchen and location! Could not be any more happy with my stay. I look forward to the next trip! Thank you!

Rooms are great! Very noisy though due to being located on busy street with traffic lights. Diesel trucks and Harley’s will keep you awake. There are no black out curtains for those staying here on night shift. Cleaning happens twice a week but also if on night shift your room will not get cleaned but the cleaning staff will be sure to wake you as they are very chatty and noisy cleaning the rest of the suite. Talked to front desk about this but to no solution is possible. Stay at down town location by river for a more peaceful stay

Decent places to rent and look very nice and even with issues below are a good place to stay. Issue is they are not built that great and seems to have lots of issues. Stayed in the new Empire building for over a year with my company and the furnace never seemed to work right, thermostat for heat and AC never switched right and the AC water valve never did open had to open manually to get cold water to cool unit down. No real sound proofing. Can hear people talk in the hallway amd people above you. Maintenance takes longer to put AC chiller on and heat when switch from summer to winter mode. The above is livable as the unit are nice and the location is perfect, right across fro. The theater, Banquet pub and bowling, East Village pub is on same side and a min walk. Convenience stores and other food stores in same spot. Excellent to stay at while working in area.

I stay here for work. Condos are okay, the build quality of the units isn't the greatest. The furniture provided in the rooms is very cheap and breaks easily under normal day to day use. The front desk staff are quite friendly and helpful. The rooms get cleaned twice a week, however you can tell the room staff are usually in a rush as rags and cleaning supplies will often get left behind, as well as not properly refilling the shampoo/conditioner/bathroom tissue consistently. The maintenance workers often mismatch bulbs in the room so most rooms are a combination of warm yellow lights and cool white lights (2200K-2700K to 4900-6500K.) The early mornings can be quite loud as the condo is located right beside a heavily used Tim Hortons, and the sound of backup alarms can easily be heard from the east facing rooms. The underground parkade is easily one of the dustiest I've ever parked in. There is a fan system in the parkade but I don't think it has any filtration capabilities as your vehicle will be covered with a thick layer of dust after being there a few days. The building has excellent heating and cooling capabilities, provided that the HVAC system is working properly which it usually is.

Was not my first choice but due to low availability of rooms, I gave it a whirl. Not your usual lobby as this seems to be geared for long stay however the process was quick. Underground parking was nice. Elevator was not operational that day so the stairs got the nod. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. A few choices in the complex for meals and drinks. Certainly will stay there on next trip.

This is my first visit to Fort Mac and I am beyond impressed with our stay here! The suites are BEAUTIFUL! They are large, clean, beautifully furnished with comfy beds and big balcony; plus walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and shoppers drug mart, The staff is sweet and welcoming. I would 100% stay here again over a hotel any day! Thank you EV Suites 🙂 I hope to come back soon!

This hotel is essentially a condo development in which some units are used for rentals of various time frames, including just a couple nights as a hotel operates. The beauty is that for the price of a decent hotel room, you can get a one or two bedroom condo complete with full kitchen and laundry facilities. The unit I stayed in was a one bedroom, extremely clean, modern, nicely furnished, new fixtures/features, and had a very comfy bed with a down topper. There are several shops just steps away including a popular pub and Tim Hortons. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 as a vote is because there aren't the typical hotel amenities available like room service/pool/fitness etc. and because my room was randomly missing a few vertical blinds. I would absolutely recommend this as a great place to stay and will likely be back next time I'm in town.
