Bel endroit très propre et bien aménagé, avec une cuisine bien garnie (même de l’huile pour la cuisson, pratique quand tu voyage léger).|L’extérieur est invitant et le BBQ à disposition est un +|Petit bémol cependant, c’est mal insonorisé. On entend les voisins au dessus et à côté. |On reviendrait sans problème

After a coworker’s recommendation and seeing beautiful photos of the Blue Whale Suite, my husband and I chose the Whale House Guest House for our 2 days vacation. Booking with Amanda was seamless; she even arranged a pick-up and drop-off for us.
The location was everything we wanted—quiet, scenic, and with ocean views from two whale-watching decks. The room and bathroom was spotless and well-equipped with essentials. The king bed was so comfortable, and the outdoor hot tub was the perfect bonus.
Amanda was incredibly helpful and responsive, even offering a ride to Arbour Restaurant for our lunch reservation. Whale House is a perfect escape, for anyone needing a peaceful and relaxing getaway, I highly recommend it. We didn’t explore the East coast trail but we’ll definitely be back!

Had the Beach House suite with hot tub. Gorgeous view with large picture windows on two sides. Lovely big room, king bed -mattress was amazing. Shower and hot tub amenities were all good. Lots of games and books available. Hot tub was perfect and Amanda lowered the temperature for us before arriving. Furniture and artwork was lovely. My comments below are minor but might be thoughts for future improvement for others. We plan to go back next summer as we enjoyed the experience so much.||My reason for not giving 5 star was there was no coffee creamers/whitener in the room which we only realized early morning. Also would be nicer to have drinking water kept in fridge rather than on the counter. I was a bit concerned how long it might have been there. We used tap instead but the only sink was about half the size of bar sink. TV did not work and kept getting stuck spinning.

The blue whale suite was very nice and the views were excellent. We loved the hot tub and the peacefulness of the stay. The suite is simple but elegant. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were very soft. Saw some puffins and one minke whale on the nearby boats tour. Amanda was great and offered lots of information prior to the stay. Hope to stay again someday.

Excellent location to explore the area and hike part of the East Coast Trail right out the door. Very handy to have a fridge and cooking facilities. Host very attentive. Really liked their values in terms of conservation. Perfect set up for hikers needs.

We booked the Humpback Room because of the hot tub and ocean view. There was not much of a view. The trees and vegetation does not allow for any view of the Ocean. The room is very small and nowhere to sit except for two wooden chairs. No place to put any of your clothes away.||It may not be so bad but there is no other place on the property to sit outside. The weather was great but beside the bench outside our door there was not place to sit not even on the deck with the hot tub.||They should also let you know before you arrive about some of their rules. There is a slgn above the toilet that only pee and poop goes into the toilet. Anything you use to wipe is to go into the garbage can beside the toilet. ||All in all it was not what we expected.

Quiet peaceful place off the beaten path. We stayed in the humpback room which has a hot tub and small deck. The room is below the blue whale which also has a hot tub. Our room was rectangular-longer than wide. The room is great for staying several days because it has a hot plate, microwave, and toaster oven. The grocery store is nearby. However, be sure to get some food from the Happy Afghan food truck. We had a delicious dish of chicken biryani, nan, and pop. They will make a different dish each day, but you can call ahead and they will make what you want. In close proximity/walking distance you will find Fork Restaurant, 2 East Coast trails, and the Molly Bawn puffin/whale tour. We especially liked the whale house for privacy and a relaxed ambiance.
