It’s an old hotel but they renovated the whole place, it’s nice now, clean and fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we asked to see their double queen rooms before I booked and the lady happily showed us 3 different options, I was impressed by the size of two of the queen rooms! They used yo be so tiny and dingy but they are decent sized now. The location is good too, Tim’s next door and the best sushi place in Grande Prairie (Prairie Sushi) on the other side.

Nice room with all the expected amenities, AND has breakfast and laundry machines in the building. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even helped me with getting my car started! I would absolutely stay again.

This hotel is amazing for anyone travelling with pets, they are absolutely top notch in being pet friendly, our #1 choice in GP as someone who travels with dogs regularly. The property is still going through upgrades, but is still in decent condition. The location is a bit busy, and it would be amazing if in the upgrades they decided to make a small off leash, gated area for dogs but the grassy area behind the building is workable. Parking lot was fairly icy but all of grande prairie was. Again as always a wonderful choice for pet travellers!

It was decent. The rooms were clean and fine. There is a large gap under the door that lets quite a bit of light in, if that bothers you. Bathtub is dated but works!
I don't know if it was the jetlag but the breakfast of bagels and cream cheese was delicious. Maybe it was the toaster.
No highchair.

Katie, Jeremy, Valencia and Winnie? Hopefully I spelled that right. They are all fantastic!! More than willing to go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The building itself has seen plenty of renovations including a community kitchen and free laundry! Also you won't have any issue finding something to eat nearby thanks to the location. Thank you to all the staff for the awesome time!!

For the price you pay it is a very good place. Hence, 5 stars. My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. 24 hr reception was helpful. Night shift lady was a bit reserved, but I got her to smile by buying her coffee from McDonald's. I moved to Anavada from another more expensive hotel because of the noise I had in my room from some fan left working overnight. Now, Anavada has become my first choice.

I was on my way to Dawson City when my truck broke down. Needed a place where I could have my dog with me. Came across Anavada in Grande Prairie. They were amazing. It was a day by day if my truck was done. 12!!! Days later it was finally done. Bev, the manager was exceptionally awesome to deal with. Helped me out through a few struggles I had while waiting. Her staff is awesome, hands down to Jeremy who would also go above and beyond for the customers. Thank you for all you did while the auto repair shop drained my account.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in and as a former oil and gas worker, there have been many. Shower had no pressure, they didn't make the bed in 3 days. No new towels and I was told they only clean the rooms every second day. Counters not wiped and it wasn't vacuumed. I'd rather stay in a tent.

I totally DO NOT recommend.
