Le Viaduc de Lethbridge est un Pont construit en 1907-1909 et qui reste le plus haut et le plus long de son type. Il couvre une longueur de 1,6 km et s'élève de 95,7 mètres au-dessus du lit de la rivière Oldman. Ce site historique est également marqué par la bataille de 1870 entre les Nations autochtones Blackfoot et Cree. Cette dernière serait la dernière bataille de ce type sur le sol canadien. En 1960, Indian Battle Park a été ouvert au public, offrant des chemins d'interprétation en galets rouges, des vues panoramiques, des toilettes publiques, des places de stationnement, des abris de pique-nique, des sentiers de randonnée, des attractions historiques et le centre d'interprétation Fort Whoop Up.

The High Level Bridge was constructed in 1907=1909 and remains the highest and longest of its kind. It spans 1.6 km in length and rises 95.7 meters above the Oldman Valley riverbed. Historically, this area marks the site of the 1870 battle between Blackfoot and Cree First Nations. This would be the last First Nations battle on Canadian soil. In 1960 Indian Battle Park was opened to the public ,offering red shale interpretive pathways, scenic views,public bathrooms, parking, picnic shelters,hiking trails, historical attractions and the Fort Whoop Up Interpretive Centre.

This thing is amazing. We have one of these back home called the Kinzua Bridge that got taken out by a tornado. I actually got to see a train go across the bridge while sitting at a picnic table way down below. I think it is really cool they maintain this bridge and still use it.
