Yesterday we went on a fabulous tour with Jeff! It was a wonderful day out, visiting beautiful Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. Jeff was punctual, friendly and so well informed about his home locality. It was a pleasure to sit back and be driven around in his very comfy tour vehicle. What a memorable day it was and I highly recommend you book while you’re in the region.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove tour yesterday with my friend from Australia. Our tour guide was Jeff who is punctual, knowledgeable and accommodating. He gave us important facts and history information about Nova Scotia which helped us understand and appreciate these areas of interest. I highly recommend Anchor Tours especially if you want to relax and enjoy the comfortable and scenic ride to your destination. I give this tour a 10 out of 10.

Once we booked our trip to Halifax, the next order of business was to look into tours. I did a lot of research and realized that Anchor Tours was exactly what we were looking for. They offer a variety of tours with plenty to see at a relaxed pace. After all, who wants to rush while on vacation? As a result, we booked three tours.
We first went on the Peggy’s Cove-Halifax Tour. It was fantastic, we saw a lot, and Jeff provided lots of commentary on the various places we were visiting. While there was an official itinerary for the tour, our tour guide made changes as the day continued to ensure a better overall experience.
Next up was our tour to Annapolis Valley and the Bay of Fundy. It was interesting but not my personal favourite. Still, Reg, our guide for the day, was also very knowledgeable, full of interesting facts about what we saw. The visit to Luckett Winery was great, but we could have used more time there to sample the products. Also, I would not have been disappointed if we had missed Halls Harbour. Grand Pre was definitely the day’s highlight, and I think everyone should visit to learn about Canada’s history.
The final tour saw Jeff lead our group to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. I would have loved to have stayed longer in Lunenburg and bypassed the last stop. That’s just me, though, as other people on our tour seemed to enjoy Mahone Bay.
Overall, Jeff and Reg made our trip come alive. We were not just seeing places and sites but learning about them. That’s what makes a great tour.
My only regret, we’ve taken all their main tours, so there will be no new ones if and when we return.

We had an excellent experience with anchor tours. Our guide was very informative and very pleasant with all the members of the tour. The guide was very punctual in regards to picking us up on time and dropping us off on time. I would highly recommend this tour when visiting Halifax. One of the best tours we have ever been on.

My son and I went on the Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove tour. It was amazing and the driver arrived at our hotel on time to pick us up. I really liked that he told us the history of the region while driving us to our destinations. His instructions were easy to follow and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend.

We took a tour to Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg through Anchor Tours. We were so pleased with the two stops we made. The amount of time at each stop was perfect. Our driver Jeff Babineau was very knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend this tour. There is nothing we would have changed.

I had a really lovely experience with Anchor Tours and our guide/driver Reg was awesome. We travelled from
Halifax to Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove and it was so worth it. Reg gave us lots of interesting facts and was an excellent driver. If you’re looking for a solid tour, this is the one.
