We have been visiting this store for several years but today was our last. I stopped in earlier this month on our way to kayak the nearby lakes -favourites of ours- and purchased a backpack, hoping it would fit the water bottle I had at home. It was a bit too small, so knowing there was a larger one there, we made the 2 hour trip just to make the exchange. There was no staff to greet us at the door, although she had seen us come in. We had to go to her and asked if she worked there. I told her of our situation and she emphatically refused the exchange, saying they don’t exchange packs. The tags were still on the pack and we had the receipt in hand. No go.
We were shocked and disappointed. Before leaving town, we tried calling to perhaps speak to a manager. No answer.
Customer service is definitely not number one here.

We are visiting family in town. I Went in looking for hiking gear, and was pleased to find an Osprey 48L pack, at a decent discount!
The down side was, the staff wasn’t overly attentive or knowledgeable.
But, perhaps it was later afternoon, after some staff had gone home…
If you know what you need, you’ll do well here ! I will go back for sure.

Great gear and great prices. They have lots of great outdoor equipment, mostly apparel, with reasonable prices. They had a sale going on when we were there and the process were very reasonable.

Great selection but wish they had more sizes in what we wanted. Walked out empty handed because of sizing.

Staff is very unfriendly everything I've gone in there, no help or acknowledgement. If there were anywhere else to get a decent pair of shoes in this town, I would absolutely go there first. A full day of wages for a pair of shoes, the least they could do is say thank you!
Shop local...well show appreciation to your customers then.

Not accustomed to reading the fine print on receipts so I didn’t get “all sales final” memo. Wasn’t mentioned at the till either.

Bought the wrong size of snow suit for our infant son. Brought it back a two days later to exchange for a smaller size and there was zero will to accommodate me. Not even if I was willing to take a hit on a cheaper suit. My tough luck!!

Love this shop. Great place to pick up nice quality clothes for my kids and I, without having to run into Calgary or Lethbridge. Carries tons of great brands like The North Face, PrAna, Columbia etc. Despite it being an outlet store it’s still fairly expensive, but I don’t mind spending a bit more for stuff that’s going to last.
