This is just a tiny little ground on the outskirts of Rimbey but it is really nice. The grounds are clean, the staff are accommodating and polite and very helpful. You don't expect to see showers or toilets in a site so small but it has both and has phone numbers to reach people if you need to book a site or anything at all. It has also added a children's park since we were last there and the people who camp there are all super friendly too. Its close to Sylvan Lake, Aspen Beach, and Gull Lake and is accessible to multiple stores and shopping for anything you may have forgotten or run out of. Definitely a great place for a quick getaway.

One of the best campgrounds we have been to. Very quiet, lots of land for playing sports with the kids. Nice bike path. Water, electricity and sewer available onsite. We would recommend this campground to friends and family. A big thank you to Howard for the great hospitality and welcoming.

This is a nice quiet place to set up for work or play!! Caretakers easy to deal with. Bike/walking path is right there. You might even catch a baseball game further on the right night.

Stayed 7km outside rimbey came in to use showers. clean showers were either stone cold or piping hot. Also shared bathroom with the ball fields so had little kid pee on toilet seats sometimes.

Excellent experience at The Nesting Place. Serene and tranquil lot, friendly neighbors and Howard the Campground Manager set us up for success! We so enjoyed the campfires with family and friends. We will be back. Excellent Lions club members and non members keep this location so clean and manicured.

There are no lights in the public showers, no hot water. Bathroom facilities need lots of cleaning and nobody keeps up on it. Otherwise it’s a lively place with lots of outdoor activities and wild parties in the dark hours.

Love this little campground! Full hookup sites that are super easy to get into and get hooked up to. Grocery and liquor store within walking distance. Flush toilets and showers on site. Only 45 minutes from Red Deer. The whole place is well kept , and they have firewood for sale that they drive around with a few times a day.
