This company is very unprofessional. I was driving eastbound on hyw 53 on Wednesday. It was blowing snow and the roads were glare ice. I was doing about 98km/h because it was so slick. I seen a semi coming up on me pretty fast. He decided he was going to pass me on a uphill double yellow. He went almost all the way up to the top of the hill on the wrong side of the road. If someone had of been coming it definitely would have ended bad. He pulled back into my lane within a couple feet of the front of my truck wich caused me to hit my breaks and I started to lose control and he also snow blinded me. I decided to follow him to get a picture of his unit # so I could report him. I tried to keep up with him but he was well over the speed limit. I followed him to ponoka. He pulled in calnash yard and I pulled off to the distance to take a picture of his truck. He jumped out and started yelling and waiting his arms. He approached my truck saying he did nothing wrong. I told him everything was recorded and was reporting him to his boss. I called his dispatcher and explained what happened. He said he would get back to me and never heard from him again. I have been driving class 1 for 31 yrs, I am also a licensed class 1 driver instructor through the alberta government. It is drivers like this that cause fatal accidents and companies like this that does nothing about it. As u can see in the picture the yellow line is still double long after he gets back in my lane. You would think an oilfield company like calnash would not put up with this and have consequences for unsafe drivers like this. As a class 1 alberta government driver instructor, I will not allow this to happen and will be showing the authorities this footage and hopefully there will be consequences so we help to save lives.
