I was so excited to do this excursion and it was are first stop in Lunenburg. Morgan was a beyond wonderful, funny and knowledgeable guide. Our horse Jake was so kind and gentle. I highly recommend you give this try!

Great tour! A very knowledgeable young lady took us around Lunenburg and provided historical commentary. Jake was the star of the show and my kids haven't stopped talking about him and how friendly he was.

We had a wonderful experience at Trot in Time carriage tours. Our guide was Shay and our horse was Jack - they both knew the way and Shay was very well versed on the history of Lunenburg and the part of it that is included in the UNESCO world heritage site. We saw many beautiful buildings and learned a lot about their history. Definitely worth the time and money. Enthusiastically recommended!

Wonderful experience! Guide was very knowledgable and able to provide additional details when asked. The pace of the ride was pleasurable and made it easy to take photos. There is no way we would have been able to see anything but the waterfront had we not take this 35 minute carriage ride. Had room for up to 6 passengers. Highly recommend!!!

We were taken around Lunenberg and given an excellent history lesson. Our guide was lovely and very informative. They allowed us to take our two pups with us on the tour as well. Best money spent to have an educated tour. Thank you so much. Jacquie and Doug

These people provide a horse and carriage ride around Lunenburg. You will find them at the center of town really close to the Pier.
We were flipping between a boat ride and this one - picked this one coz the kids had enough of the whale tour we had taken earlier in our trip.
This ride is run by mother. daughter family along with their grand mother I think.
40 dollars for adults and 20 for kids for roughly 40 mins.
The lady who took us out was lively, funny , friendly and informative about the history of Lunenburg.
She took us around town and gave us the scoop on everything.
It's such a beautiful little town with these colorful houses and streets - you get the best pictures of everything sitting in the carriage.
You can pay by cash or an online email transfer after the ride.
Take this ride if you want to see Lunenburg quick - also its all slopes and can be difficult for older people or people with handicaps.
Well worth the money spent my friends!!!

What a fun way to experience Lunenburg. Our guide was just the right amount of corny and our equine friend, Bernie, was a sweet boy.

Will note that the trot and terrain does result in a bit of a herky-jerky ride, so if you are prone to motion sickness it may not be ideal for you.

Wonderful way to experience the Lunenburg waterfront. Experienced guides. And the horses seemed well cared for, and got lots of breaks. Definitely recommend trot in time carriage tours if you are in Lunenburg!
