A beautiful way to see Chester at its finest!

As a very last minute activity we were able to join Anthony on his modern, well maintained and quiet, comfortable boat. We took advantage of an extraordinarily beautiful day and cruised the Chester harbours, around Oak Island, checked out the seal shoal (one cheeky seal swimming) and were given some excellent history and interesting facts about the area. The views of the natural and residential areas was stunning. we had a wonderful, generous hour and a half-ish. On Anthony’s recommendation we finished up with a magnificent lunch at the Rope Loft. Although I know nothing of fishing, especially deep sea fishing-I know he would be a competent and expert guide as he has a great understanding of the sport and his boat is well set up for such an adventure.

My wife and I had a great time with Anthony. There was a family of four on the boat with us and there was plenty of room, very comfortable. Really enjoyed seeing the shoals, seals, Oak Island, and hearing the stories.

One of the best fishing experiences of my life. The Skipper (Anthony) and The First Mate (Steve) both went the extra mile to make our outing a great one. The day was completed with a big bag of cod fillets to take home for supper, and a large blue shark in the boat. I highly recommend this charter to experienced or in-experienced fishermen.

Captain Anthony took my family and I on a wonderful tour of the area. You really get a different perspective of the beautiful south shore coastline from the water. He took us to see seals basking on some rocks which my kids absolutely loved. We got to get out and explore an amazing beach on an island and had it all to ourselves! The boat is really comfortable and even has a bathroom available for passengers to use. I highly recommend booking with Chester Charters!

A very highly recommended to do if you come to Chester Basin...We had an amazing time with Captain Anthony our trip couldn't have been better.
Considering the time of year the weather was perfect the ride out to the fishing spot was pretty smooth and the Captain was very laid back which made for a relaxing pleasant day. We all caught fish and kept a few which made for a delicious dinner. We hope to see you next year.

Awesome Awesome Awesome!! Just got back from a great day with Anthony. Our family had an amazing time… the boat was great… weather was great (glad we made the date change that Anthony recommended)… Anthony was very knowledgeable and gave us some good history and geography lessons of the area. Most importantly we caught a bunch of fish!!! I would definitely book another charter with Anthony and Chester Charters and Deep Sea Adventures.

Adrian took myself, my wife and our two kids out fishing followed by a local tour! He is a great Captain, very knowledgeable about the area, the fishing was alot of fun, the tour was awesome with some amazing sights! The kids had a great time and are still talking about it! We saw a group of seals who approached the boat! Highly recommend Adrian at Chester's Charters and will definitely return. Thanks Adrian!

Took Our team Out!

We were able to easily book online @ chestercharters.ca. Tour left on time at 8:00 am. I understand that they do a morning tour, afternoon and evening , weather permitting. For 4 hours we were taken out, about 4 miles offshore and fished for mackerel (for the bait) and then cod (with the mackerel as bait). Everything was explained appropriately and all gear provided. We were served Big Reds subs (local Gem ) and water on board which was included in the service. , which we took full advantage of. if you want to keep some fish and eat they have a live tank. Maximum people onboard is 8, which is great. Anthony the owner provided us with fantastic experience. Will do this again!! Highly recommended if your visiting or live in Nova Scotia
