C'est la place pour le rafting. Une promenade tranquille pour voir la marée montante. Ensuite affronter des vagues jusqu'à 5 pieds de haut, toute une aventure. On a même pu se baigner en plein milieu de la ride. Pour ajouter à cette expérience, on a aussi eu l'occasion de faire des glissades dans la boue. Le personnel est accueillant et à l'écoute de ses clients. Merci à Clay notre chauffeur désigné qui a su nous faire apprécier ce moment vraiment cool.

This was an incredibly fun time for our family! We took our 6 and 8 year old and they loved it! Our 6 year old did get super cold (we went in Sept) but still smiled the entire time! The guide was excellent in constantly checking on our little guys and making sure we were good to continue and he was okay! When we were done they made sure he got warm and dry as fast as possible! It was an amazing learning experience for both the adults and kids. While having an exceptionally fun time! A year later my kids still talk about it being so much fun!
I was able to go back down to the water after and capture some gorgeous shots as well!

Absolutely loved this adventure! Warm and welcoming, family owned and operated business, they will even treat you to a barbeque after your trip! Highly educated, funny and entertaining drivers (we were with Mitch). Safety felt ensuring. We didn't know what to wear or bring but they sent out an email prior explaining all the details thoroughly and provided anything you may need for the trip- don't want to get your shoes wet and muddy? They'll provide you boots! Worried about being cold? They'll provide a rain coat! But that won't stop you from getting splashed 😉 ! Highly recommend, they really care about their customers and made us feel like apart of the family >3 we will be back!!!

Our group did the river rafting in July and it was so much fun!! We chose the 'moderate' adventure but ended up being closer to the 'extreme' so we lucked out. The waves were crazy and at times their power caught me by surprise but it was such a fun wild ride! The experience was amazing and we learned so much about the bore, the amazing tides and the area. Our guide was fantastic; knowledgable, professional, and lots of fun. The meal after the rafting was delicious. Highly recommend as a 'to do' adventure if you're in the area!

We had so much fun at Shubenacadie River Adventure Tours! They were kind and lovely people and our guide Clay was a superstar! It’s a little smaller than the other places that offer tidal bore rafting, which we much prefer. The waves were huge and it was just a ridiculous amount of fun. An amazing way to spend the afternoon. They even had a BBQ for us at the end and I was so pleasantly surprised when they asked if anyone was (veg/vegan) as they had veggie dogs. So kind and thoughtful. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a blast doing the river tour! There weren’t enough people in our group doing the longer tour so they refunded part of the cost for us and then ended up extending the shorter tour for all of us. They let us get out of the raft (yes it’s more of a zodiac raft than a boat) and walk along the river floor. We also got out while the river was flowing in to feel how strong the current was even though it didn’t look like it. The current wasn’t that strong riding it in so I recommend doing the extreme tour but our guide made it fun by going back and forth to ride the strongest ones. The mud slide was a lot of fun too. It was kind of difficult and slippery getting up to the top of where you slide down into the river but little kids were doing it so I knew I could too. A couple of things to remember though. You WILL get wet and muddy so wear old clothes. The water is a little chilly so wear a long sleeved shirt.
I would definitely recommend this tour to have a great time and to play in the mud!

Went on the 1.5 hour tour with our operator Mitch. The experience was thrilling. We had a wonderful time. Mitch knew where to take us to hit some intense waves. It was amazing. This is our second year going with Shubenacadie River Adventure. Super friendly people. Had a hotdog bbq after. Highly recommended. It was a wonderful day!!

I took another RV caravan group to Shubenacadie River Adventure Tours for the tidal bore trip in 2024. This is my 3d time rafting the bore with the best boat crews on the river.
They do a great job checking you in and getting you ready to enjoy the ride. You walk down to the river to meet your boat captain. Once onboard, the thrill begins.
I’ve been on the river for both a medium and two low intensity rides. All of them were fun and enjoyable. It’s an amazingly fun experience and a truly unique way to experience the tidal bore force acting upon the river.
Put on some shorts, an old T-shirt, lace up or slip on your closed toe shoes and climb onboard for a wet ride. Who knows, you might even laugh and smile when you’re playing in the mud!
