What I really like in St Albert Transit is the communication between drivers and operators especially when you need to transfer to another bus. They will inform whichever bus you need. Also today August 29th, 2025- 6:25 pm, the operator (i am not really sure if that’s what they called), the one who is in a suv helped me catch a bus today and forgot to say thank you! So if you’re reading this, thank you so much. May all the people working at StAT have more power to continue the awesome service!

Terrible winter bus service. Busses are repeatedly late or just don’t show. In -30 weather to with 0 communication cancel bus routes is frankly dangerous .

Service on weekdays is okay, it would be nice if buses came more frequently. The issue is Sunday service through Book-a-Bus. I don't think I've seen a Book-a-Bus come on time once, it's either early or late. Most egregiously it was once 45 minutes early (I was still at work when it showed up) and as I'm writing this I was meant to be picked up 5 minutes ago (already 12 minutes later than when it was scheduled for) and it's currently another 12 minutes away.

Since the latest change of routes, the service has gotten absolutely detestable. It’s not uncommon for my local A4/A5 transit to leave before my 20X commuter arrives at the exchange. After this had happened on a particular cold day, I talked to the transit supervisor on duty about the problem and he responded with “talk to the city” and rolled up his window. Meanwhile, in -28c weather I’m waiting 20 minutes for the next bus, cold, and without any explanation. All while the city put in headed booths, only to take them out less than a year later. I haven’t had this issue historically with stat, and I haven’t had it ever with ets. Please fix this evidently flawed schedule.

20X also sometimes leaves before the scheduled time during their route within Edmonton. Plenty of other recent reviews mention this.

Why’d the bus driver just stop driving for 10 mins in the middle of route

Trying to get somewhere after office hours? Too bad. Not so much as an after hours information line. Drivers are awesome, but the system is designed by those who dont take it. It is built for mon-fri 9-5 only. The useful routes of weekdays don't run on weekends when people in essential services often work and others might go out late.

its pretty good if you want to get into edmonton but if you want to go somewhere actually in st albert it takes an hour and you have to walk at least 15 minutes.

Firstly, I have no complaints at all about the bus drivers, (5/5 stars for them), but please fix the on demand transit system!

Using on demand is seriously painful. For example, tonight I had a five minute trip, the drive is less than 5 minutes. It took me over an hour and a half to get to my stop.

This is not just a one time problem, it happens almost every time I’ve booked a ride through the on demand transit. Please fix the on demand transit!
