One of the cleanest motel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The outside of the property has seen better days for sure. Overall, it’s great value for the amenities offered.

The staff were very kind and friendly, and the location is right on the beach, but we found the rooms to be not just dated, but actually kind of dirty. An observant person can tell the difference between a surface clean and a deep clean. The floor around the kitchen cupboards and fridge had long caked-on filth. Being told there is a charge for dishes not washed seemed very strange to us. We wouldn't stay here again unless these issues were rectified, and considering how long the dirt in the kitchenette had been accumulating, I don't see anything changing. Though you never know 🤷

I own a small business and had booked three rooms for my guys to stay in for one night while they worked in the area. As soon as the guys walked into the lobby they noticed there were people in the basement area that were impaired on what they assumed were drugs. Once they opened the door to their rooms they noticed a very bad smell and stains on the carpet. The rooms were absolutely disgusting and they turned around to go back and speakw with the front desk person. He refused to offer us a refund, costing us twice as much money to go and book a diiferent hotel. Highy recomment looking elsewhere if you are in the Slyvan Lake area.

Old dated rooms with sticky tiled floor and no carpet aside from the door mat duck taped to the floor. Very thin walls to make listening to your neighbors easy

Worst place to stay we have ever seen. Very unsanitary rooms and washrooms. Taps, ACs don’t work. This place needs renovations. I’m not sure why is there no inspection people doing inspection of this place and cancels it’s license.

Owner Duval was so nice! Check in was easy, our little dog was accepted and the room was very clean. Most important to me was the beds which were clean and comfortable. We definitely would stay here again! A. McKinty

Very friendly staff, short walk to the beach and to restaurants. Bed were big and comfy. Only problems I personally had were the floors hadnt been properly mopped/cleaned in a while. Yes they swept but the tile was still so dirty, my bare feet turned black. The bathroom door needed to be slammed to be shut which was an issue when it was after 11pm and was in quiet time. The people in the next room over were cooking fish so the room stunk. I will say though, they allowed us access to their netflix which they really dont have to do but did anyway. Overall, id give it 4 stars. Just needs to be properly cleaned and updated. Otherwise amazing little motel. Despite the issues, I’d stay there again!

Hubby and I rode our motorcycles to Sylvan Lake. We requested a ground floor room and the office complied. Clean and comfy room! The gals in the office were very friendly and accommodating! The motel is walking distance to the marina, beach and many restaurants. We will return! Thank you!
