Comfortable clean room but only 4 stars because of the heating/AC unit which has 2 speeds, one hyper and the other super hyper both exceeding 100 decibels. We slept with it off so that we wouldn't go deaf. Unfortunately it was -24 over night which left us with a very cool room by morning.

This is an older property that has been updated to Days Inn standards. The staff are excellent, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant attached is good.
It's not too far to the downtown streets, about a 20 minute walk.
When I was there, off season, there were only about six rooms with occupants, and daily housekeeping was irregular. This is not a complaint, just an observation.
There is no elevator, but if you have mobility issues you could probably request a main floor room.
The location is quiet, with three good restaurants in easy walking distance, plus pizza and a convenience store next door.
The owner needs to take repairs and maintenance more seriously. Too many holes in the restaurant bathroom walls and not enough attention paid to minor, yet annoying defects in at least one of the rooms.
The web site advertises kitchenettes, which implies that you can prepare food, but house rules say no cooking is allowed. There is a sink, microwave and fridge but no cups, dishes etc, so reheating leftovers is the limit of what you can do.
It's good value for the money.

Had a great stay here. Everything was easy from booking the room, checking in and checking out. All of the staff is also very nice. The hot breakfast is also included in our stay which was also great had variety to choose from. Our room and the place/building were also clean. Love the comfy bed & pillows. It was also very quiet so we slept soundly.
Only thing to note is there is no elevators, it’s only few steps up and down. But will be hard if you have elderly folks coming in to stay, I think you can request for the 1st floor rooms. Overall had a great time staying here for the Thanksgiving weekend! Thank you team!

I recently stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Sylvan Lake and had a fantastic experience! The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and easy. I especially appreciated the location – it's just a short distance from the lake and nearby attractions, making it perfect for exploring Sylvan Lake.

Breakfast was a nice bonus, with a good selection to start the day. The overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, ideal for a getaway. I would definitely recommend Days Inn to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Sylvan Lake. Great value for the price!"

Awful service, needed a room at Sylvan Lake to freshen up from a long drive to catch a flight in Calgary and the clerk, at 9:30am MST today attempted to charge me another $20 on top for "early check in fee" during the lowest season of the year. Cancelled the reservation and membership instantly. Greed and incompetence together gets you a 2 star rating, which is still too high in my opinion.

Good deal on rooms that are well cleaned. Breakfast was a hot buffet and included in the price which was delicious and it saved money on a meal out for the family. Tons of amenities around including gas stations, pizza, liquor and dispensary stores. The hotel is not waterfront, but is a 2 block walk to a small less busy beach at Sylvan. The rate and quality for the hotel exceeds the hotels on Lakeshore. Will stay here again! Quick note - no elevators
