So first off, its a 4 unit AirBnB. Someone had checked in to my unit and no one notificed me of this as a result, checking around 10:45pm, I noticed no key in the lockbox. I had to wait for an hour for the management company got back to me, before getting me in to a different unit. Once inside, the shower curtain was moldy, some weird brown liquid was dripping off the clothing iron. Soundproofing is also non existant, footsteps from upstairs shook the entire unit and i was even able to hear charging cables dragged across the floor and being plugged in. All i was offered was a different unit, but seeing as i just spent 8 days on a mountain, i was just happy to be able to get some stuff cleaned. On top of that, the hidden fees made up 40% of the bill for my 2night stay.
Just go to a motel, it'll be cheaper with alot less headache

My partner and I stayed here as we wanted a weekend in the halifax area and this spot was A LOT cheaper than other hotels in Halifax at the time so we decided to stay here. The room was great, clean and cozy for a long or short stay. The area is nice as it was right beside a pizza place, convenient store and gas station. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because we needed more towels and after asking housekeeping they didn’t bring any and paying for parking was unnecessarily complicated.

Interesting concept, but poor execution. Basically, an "automated" self-service place to stay. The room itself was great. Well equipped and clean and comfortable, minus the one set of towels for 2 people. Price: excellent for the area. The biggest problem was no promised internet service, and no response from the company as to whether it would be fixed during our stay. TV was reliant on the internet, so that didn't work either. Service: almost none. One answer to a text message and the rest were ignored and phone messages unanswered. Location: sketchy to say the least. Room looks out on a parking lot and abandoned building with overgrown weeds everywhere. Email sent through Expedia was missing formatting and you had to decipher room numbers, door codes, and wifi info all jumbled together with no spaces. Too bad as again, the room is great, but the service middling to non-existent.

In August 2024, we booked several rooms, including one with a sofabed and another with a queen bed. Upon arrival, we discovered that one of the rooms was missing the sofabed. We noticed a sofabed obstructing the hallway but were unaware it was the one intended for our room. When we reported the issue to the staff, they informed us that their best solution was to send only one person to assist meaning we would have to move the sofa bed back in, or we would need to use an air mattress for the night. Ultimately, we had to move the sofa bed back into our room - which wouldn't fit through the doorframe and took 30 mins. The mattress that was brought back in was stained with multiple blood marks, extremely thin, and uncomfortable, as we could feel the springs throughout the night, preventing any sleep. Additionally, the pillows in the room were stained and filthy. The overall condition of the room was very poor, and the area felt unsafe, with the surrounding buildings appearing abandoned and overgrown with weeds. We contacted management afterward, only to be completely ignored. Avoid this place at all costs!

Location was very easy to find and the rooms were very well kept with everything available for a short or longer stay. We were very happy with the reservation and would stay there again! Thank you Urban Nest Team!

Not again! Room are very clean and new. But!! The location is creapy. It's surrounded by an abandoned hotel. The outside is not maintained and the parking have a huge hole and debris since im here. Diffintly not safe for kids.
There is not service on site. No lobby, no service at all. If you need something you call and wait for someone to bring it to you. You have to clean your garbage yourself.
I got lock outside my room, had to call their emergency number and wait an hour before someone call me and help me, The guy on the phone was very polite and helpfull but damn, an hour before someone help me in.

Its a very creapy place, one night I was in my car smoking and that man came out from is room (looking on crack or something for sure.) and was staring a me and walking toward me cripple and slow and a girl was laying on the door frame and was making sniffing sound like a dog. That man walked around my car in the parking still staring at me, then go back to his room. Im not scare easy but that night I slept with a knife no joke.
It not a motel, its not an hotel its not condos or appartement neither its more like a hostel. So nop not anymore.

Amazing amazing amazing! Best stay I have ever had at a hotel hands down it was nice clean cozy and feeling at home.
