It's a cool place to have camping, as well as daily usage. Day use area isn't that large but it feels cozy and comfortable. We liked it because there weren't many people. Water is pretty clean. Dogs are not allowed in the day use area. We'd love to visit again.

We did a day pass here and it was lovely. You can fish off any dock. The park is so fun for the kids and includes massive tires buried upright for kids to run through, jump across, etc. The beach is combed and well kept. And there are fire pits and picnic table all over. The view is wonderful as well. There's a small fee for a day pass but well worth the exclusivity.
There's also a couple onsite outhouses. They aren't fancy but they do the trick.

Beautiful area the beach sand is really nice, camping fire pits are a bit of a pain. Not sure what it is but we ( previous campers ) believe the pits are cleaned out way too deep and the vent holes are useless as the fire starve out. Cell service on Bell is ok for phone calls and LTE sometimes 3G 😭on the beach.

I've been coming here almost every year since 2008. It is the best beach. The water is great too. I've never seen foam or seaweed lined up at the shore. It's got shade and direct sun, swings, playground, tires to play on, picnic benches, and docks. Things have changed a bit, like price to get in, popularity, and rules (I believe they now have a rule about no eating on the beach?), but the super important things have stayed the same. Love this place!🤍

Great campground, sites are fairly private and are a good size. The water and sand was clean, the playground could use a bit of an update. Outhouses on the other hand… could use more than a bit of an update..

Always a pleasure to camp here.
The sites are very clean and the trees are quite tall and dense so it's fairly private if you pick the right campsites.
The group area is a Little small
The lake definitely has sea weed further out but the water is decently clean

The lady who runs the place has a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing going on. She was super friendly the first few times we were there. The last time we camped there she was super rude for no reason. I understand everyone has bad days, but this was very unprofessional. We're in our 50's and were treated like children. Everything else about this lake is amazing. I don't know if we'll be back based on our last visit.

Beautiful campgrounds ! Well kept, very clean shared spaces such as beach and outhouses. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful ! I definitely recommend this family and pet friendly campground.
