I have always loved this place. The paved path is wearing in some areas... But they just got a new playground. Just beware the slide may be a little fast for some toddlers 😆 really wish there were some swings though!!! The merry go round is awesome... Turns easy and goes forever!

Nice little park. Pathway loops around the whole lake and is about 5km total. Great for bird watching (geese, pelicans, seagulls, ducks). Lots of benches to sit at, play structure for kids, a dock, and gazebo. Quiet, not a lot of people, which is a plus. Dog friendly (must leash).
The only downside is that the path isn't double wide the whole loop.

I love this little park and the walking trails, I have revently just started walking the trails with my walking buddy and also my dog, and sometimes my husband. I find it so beautiful down there through all the seasons of the year! I would LOVE to see some solar lights along the path at night though for those who walk the path at night so they could feel a little safer and see a little better. I love this place it is such a beautiful place to go to get things off your mind. I would reccoment to people to come and walk the beautiful path. I also love the little things they do along the path for the holidays for example I love the little tree display they have done for Easter it is so cute and I think it is a good idea as it also gets the kids involved in wanting to take a walk down the path because there are little stories and decorations. I think you have all done an amazing job at keeping it clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for the amazing experience!

I love visiting this park. The trail around the lake is beautiful and a lovely walk on a nice day. There are lots of birds, and often you see geese or even pelicans. There are picnic tables and benches and a great playground for the kids.

Lovely place for fun, amenities for each stage, picnic tables, big and clean washroom with changing table. Playgrounds for toddlers and kids. There are many bridges and fountains. Definitely a must in Wetaskiwin for summertime

Very nice park! We ate our lunch and then took a walk around. It has a decently long pathway around the whole lake that was very enjoyable.
