We came in while in town for a hockey tournament. The staff seemed quite unsure how to seat groups and tried to split our team up despite also having another large group reserved to come in (they thought we were a part of). The atmosphere is exactly what you expect of a small town restaurant, homey and 90s lol. It was a bit dark and the washrooms weren't the best marked, we had to assist kids finding them. The dinner portions were fantastic, especially with bread knots brought to the table. I had the dill pickle soup because when that comes up as you look up the hours, you make up your mind before entering. It is as good as every other review says, definitely try it. We got a slice of pie to go since it's the namesake, and were disappointed in it. For $6 a slice, we got a meager sliver. Had we noticed the size before leaving (was handed a closed container) we'd have refused it.

My favorite restaurant ever. My family has been going there since I was 2 years old. I'm 32 now. The chicken tenders with honey mustard dip is out of this world. That dill pickle soup, the bison and fresh buns are also fire. 🔥 💛 Now I have to go again soon lol.

This is one of the most unique and amazing restaurants I have EVER experienced. Family run, incredible service, and the food is unbelievably good!
A dill theme runs through their menu and the steaks are really next level.
I came for the Spicy Pig Poutine and enjoyed the Prime Rib, Dill Soup, Ultimate Grilled Cheese... I am just scratching the surface!
I will be coming back EVERY time I visit from Florida. Every Time!

Amazing food, loved the steak but! I haven’t been here for a decade and I was hype to finally have fish and chips again… sadly they don’t serve it anymore ! BRING BACK THE FISH & CHIPS!

This restaurant is full of wonderful food, fantastic staff and such a joyful environment.
We have always had the most amazing servers, and the food is so unreal for such a hidden gem!! The dill pickle soup is amazing, and the 3 course striploin dinner is a favorite!

I only come here for the steak.. which i haven’t had in a while, but the last time i had it, it was amazing.. i went the other day and was told that they don’t serve the good steaks, or mashed potatoes before 4:30, which is kinda stupid because it was 4:20…. So.. i settled on the Reuben, which was the worst reuben i have ever had, and arguably the worst sandwich i have ever eaten at a restaurant and the biggest complaint are those gross Costco fries! The old ones were way better, restaurants that serve them are just being cheap.. on a positive note the server was great.
