Just got here this evening.
Sal is very friendly and respectful. I feel safe and comfortable.
Reassured me that myself and my vehicle would be safe as there's lots of Surveillance within parking lot.
Nice clean rooms.
No it's no fancy motel but I'd definitely recommend this motel.

Used to love this place, the 2 guys that ran the place were awesome and understanding while I was working out of town in Fort McKay and staying weekends there for a month.

Went again in 2024 and the guys attitude and respect had completely changed. Tried to take my entire 200 dollar deposit because some smoke had blown back into the room while I was smoking outside. Kept it clean and organized, they might just be getting more desperate with the Horizon down the road upgrading it's suites and adding smart TVs.

In sum, the manager is a pain in the ass to deal with and he will make his experiences with the drug addicts who go through the area YOUR problem. Don't give them a deposit, it's a hundred dollars cheaper at the Horizon and for what they charge now, you're better off staying at the 3 star hotel, 5 minutes up the road. St. Albert Inn, just spend a few extra bucks for the comfort. Owner is a great guy, but some change in who's managing the front line might be necessary.

They'll find something to keep your money, be careful.

Great rooms at a great price. Sal is an exceptional dude and provides great service. Refreshed our rooms every couple days while we were away at work. Very easy to deal with as we had to reschedule and change our dates a couple times, but he made it no issue.
Will definitely stay here again!

Sal is one of those people there seems to be fewer and fewer of. Genuinely good guy that cares about your comfort and would do whatever it took to ensure you had a good stay. The rooms have everything you need and I believe you’re getting a good value for the price. For an older place you can tell he does his due diligence and keeps the place as clean as possible. I already have and will be recommending this place to people in the future.

Used to be more than 5 stars for service but not anymore. Was driving from saskatoon to grande prairie ab it was an extremely windy day so kept at a slow safe speed for my 2 small kids and by the time we arrived in Edmonton it was getting late and wanted to find a safe place for me and my 2 small kids to stay for the night and I never had much money left for gas and was worried that what I did have wouldn't be enough so once he new I didnt have 320 for the night plus deposit he basically turned us away and would not even let us sleep in the vehicle for the night in the parking lot where I felt the most safest and said to go find somewhere else so I ended up getting as far as gunn where I had no choice but stop there and never got no sleep as I was extremely on edge probably for no reason at all but you just never know when something bad can happen

Cozy rooms with great service and great rates. Sal made sure to give us as much information about our stay up-front and he regularly has himself and his employees check on our rooms to make sure everything is tidy for us. Would absolutely stay with him again if we’re ever in the area.

Super quiet, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, good rates, and the owner is awesome! Great location too (boston pizza nextdoor, along with many other amenities) Will be staying here in the future anytime I'm in the area for sure.
