Personnellement j’ai beaucoup aimé. Décor et décor et choix des matériaux supers. Un endroit avec des planchers qui ne sont pas en tapis = je respire mieux ! Seul bémol, une bouteille de Perrier dans le frigo a été ouverte et la personne a mis de l’eau du robinet. Résultat : je serais chargé dans avoir eu le contenu, et j’ai bu dans une bouteille déjà utilisée…. À part ça tout était parfait et je vais y retourner ❤️❤️❤️

J'ai séjourné à cet endroit pour 3 nuits et j'ai été agréablement surpris. La chambre que j'occupais était très belle, décorée sobrement avec goût et très propre. L'emplacement est génial, il y a quelques micro-brasseries où on peut profiter d'une belle soirée. La distance de marche vers le centre-ville est raisonnable et le panorama est agréable. J'y retournerai sans aucun doute.

Charmant petit hôtel de 16 chambres, propre, calme et opéré comme un Airbnb, donc avec check in et check out autonome. Les chambres sont spacieuses et joliment aménagées. L’équipe répond rapidement par e-mail aux demandes des clients. Quoique assez excentré du centre-ville d’Halifax, l’hôtel est situé dans le North-End, quartier hip avec ses boutiques, bars et cafés.
Suggestions : Ce ne serait pas une mauvaise idée d’ajouter des fours micro-ondes aux chambres, qui sont toutes équipées de vaisselle, ustensiles, frigo et lave-vaisselle.
Le check-out pourrait aussi être un peu moins tôt (10h), 11h ou midi, comme la grande majorité des hôtels et air bnb.

Expensive for lack of service. No real person to get assistance from. Can’t even get ice.

Bathroom was SO moldy - this was supposed to be newly renovated so to see that amount of mold built up already.

There is no good air flow.

The place overall was not very clean. You could tell it was not truly cleaned.

Very disappointed for how much we paid. We should have just stayed in the downtown core.

Provides no space for parking - I’m here on a Thursday and apparently there is no street parking on Thursdays due to street cleaning. No alternative was provided. Really crappy amenities for the price.

The bed is NOT as shown in the photos for suite 302. The bed is completely different. The bed was on a raised platform like how you can see in the other suite photos. It is difficult to get out of being so low to the ground.

Gorgeous room with a modern design. The room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. This hotel is also in a great location, next to really good coffee shops, restaurants and a cute bookstore. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros:
Rooms are lovely, clean and modern.
Location is walkable to downtown, lots of cool things near by.

Cons:
1)Check in process is a nightmare, especially after a long transit. We had to call the after hours emergency line to find out the code we were given for the lock didn't work because the lock was offline, (and never worked for the duration of our stay), and had to use a backup code. While they were quick to answer the phone, it's still added hassle and stress.
2) Hot water stopped working our second night. We didn't bother reporting it as we didn't have time to sit on the phone with their emergency line, plus we were headed out early.
3) Sound proofing is garbage. Had terrible sleeps as we could hear the floor above or beside move around non stop.
4) Not taking any stars off for this one as the website does mention in FAQ that there's no parking, however it fails to mention the 2 hour limits during business hours, and street cleaning schedules (until you get the check in code email which mentions street cleaning). As out of towners, having this information before we got there would have been helpful, as we had to move our car around a few times to comply with all the signs.

Overall, it's great value for price, but with all the hassle noted above, we likely won't be returning.

Great location withing walking distance of all the North End restaurants. Cute coffee shop right downstairs. Nicely designed, but no real sound proofing. We could hear the rooms above and below us talking, and watching TV. Couldn't use the shower, as there was no pressure when we tried, since other rooms were using their showers. Reached out and was told this was a property wide issue, but was offered no solutions or compensation. Probably wouldn't stay again.

The Pros: Rooms are bright, spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated. Very easy to walk to quite a few good restaurants and a fun neighborhood. The room was very clean too.||The Cons: This is a contactless check in hotel, so no lobby and no staff except by phone. I had two rooms, but the key code only unlocked one room, involving a phone call and a wait for a text code for the second room. The stairwell was very narrow and the stairs very steep. The bed was on a raised platform in an alcove so we had to scramble into bed from the foot. And maneuver out in the middle of the night, trying not to stumble stepping down from the mattress. No bedside tables of course, just put your stuff between the bed and the wall 4" away. Odd arrangement and there was certainly enough square footage to have done it differently. As another reviewer mentioned, the room was bright all night and no way to block or even filter the outside light. And yes, there is some horrible trend NOT to put towel hooks or bars in hotel bathrooms?! This was a remarkably consistent feature of our entire trip around PEI and NS.
