I just returned from an amazing week in Puerto Vallarta at the Grand Palladium Resort. My nephew’s wedding was lovely. The setting for the ceremony was beautiful and the dinner and dance that followed was so much fun. The only problem I encountered was with distance between the different areas….I have mobility issues and walking from one place to another or using the stairs was not easy. The ocean views were amazing!

We saved a fair bit of hastle and got a great rate working with Angela from Global Destinations. Sure there was a few ups and downs while at the resort but that's no on Global Destinations and in reality they were minor issues in comparison to the wonderful times we spent together.

There were 30+ of us from different parts of north america at this event, I'm sure without Angela my sister would have had a hard if not impossible time getting this all sorted.

Fantastic experience with Angela at Global Destination Weddings and our stay at the Grand Palladium resort in Puerto Vallarta. My first all inclusive resort stay was magical with great staff. The food was excellent - even for a Gluten Free diet. In town, make sure to check out The Iguana restaurant, Romantico beach, and the Malecon shopping district. The luxury cruise through Vallarta Adventures made me feel like a millionaire.

Really the only good thing about this vacation was that the wedding. Everything from flights delayed costing us a full day off the top , not knowing what we can do on our end to being told to go find a different sunwing representative at the airport for help.... this was the help we got from the individual we used to plan the vacation for 30 people and contacted when we had problems. Then on the plane being told we have to share the drinks offered on the plane as they used to much on the last flight and did not have enough for our 6 hour flight. Also to mention only water, coffee, juice and pop was offered or included , to not having hotel rooms upon arrival. There was only a request for 2 ground level rooms out of a party of 30 people due to disability issues and those 4 people had to sit in the lobby waiting on a room for a day for the one couple and the other couple never did get their ground level room. Being excluded from a large portion of the resort although we paid full price for 4 ( 2 kids over 11 and 2 adults) and the 2 adults we were excluded as adults from the adults sections. FYI they charge adult pricing over the age of 11 yet you cannot access any of the adult restaurants, snack bars, pools or rooms on the resort. Small things like we could not get towles all week for the pool and beach, you are given a pool towel card to use but apparently they dont have enough towels for the amount of guests....... the people we went with and some we met were the best part of the trip. This was definitely a learning experience and not at all what we had hoped for. And the worst part is there is no help or guidance after the vacation is paid for, your own your own with any and all problems. Very disappointing.
