We used Alberta North Transport to take our Ukrainian dance group to Lloydminster for a competition. Dean was very pleasant to deal with and quick to respond when making the arrangements. Our driver Steve was very nice and got us to all of our destinations safe and sound. The bus was always ready and communication was great. Would definitely recommend!

We had friends in a tight situation. When we found alberta north and called, Cliff really helped us out! Not only did he make a way for them to travel in extremely short notice, but they told us it was such an amazing experience and they had a blast!

We booked Alberta North for our wedding tomtransport guests back to the hotel after the reception. Very easy to deal with, we booked with them over phone and email since we do not live in Edmonton. They were punctual when responding to emails and getting prices. Also had lots of options for us to make it work with our budget and were very understanding and flexible for what we needed. Driver was fun and polite and very patient with our guests on the last run of the night after our wedding!

Alberta North was great. We used their service for a rural wedding approximately 1 hour out of Edmonton. The price was great and they worked with us on many scheduling changes throughout the process.

My only suggestion would be to provide the drivers with some form of GPS. We had a passenger give the driver the wrong directions resulting in a missed pickup prior to the wedding. But they made up for it with their patience while we herded our party guests to the bus on departure.

We used Alberta North for our company golf event and had a blast. The driver Melanie was so much fun, very professional and even responded to a question the next day! The management is extremely organized and very quick to reply. They were also understanding when we had a snag at the golf course which resulted in us being a bit later than originally stated. Will definitely use them again!!!!!

These Vehicles SHOULD BE PULLED OUT OF SERVICE.
Edmonton Police have laid 223 charges representing $108,000
in fines against a this company.

On Dec. 5, 2023, officers in the Commercial Vehicles Investigations Unit (CVIU) completed an investigation going back through six months of the operational records of Alberta North Transportation Ltd.
As a result Alberta North Transportation was served with an Appearance Notice with 223 charges for multiple offences including not having trip inspections, CVIP Inspections, log books and Safety Fitness Certificates.
Alberta North Transportation is scheduled to appear in court in Edmonton on Jan. 9, 2024.
Officers in the CVIU conduct commercial vehicle enforcement in accordance with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), a non-profit organization comprised of vehicle safety officials and industry representatives across North America.
“These vehicles were used to transport large groups of people on private excursions, including students on school trips, to places like Drumheller, Jasper and Lake Louise,” said Const. James Kendrick, who led the CVIU’s investigation. “The CVIU will continue to work diligently to ensure these heavy, commercial vehicles are street legal and road worthy before a single passenger boards.”
