Lors de notre séjour en Nouvelle Ecosse nous avons eu le bonheur de tomber chez Norma et Bill. |Quelle belle rencontre. Pleine de générosité. |La maison est très belle et bien entretenue. Le jardin est riche de plantes et de fruits délicieux. |La literie est très bien et la climatisation très appréciée par une chaleur de 30º. |Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux. |Y aller sans hésiter et à recommander avec enthousiasme. |Merci Norma et Bill, au plaisir de vous revoir. |

We spent 3 very enjoyable nights in the Carriage House at Knightswood B&B. The Carriage House is a beautifully furnished and decorated living space above a garage. It provided us with a full kitchen, including a dishwasher, for our stay in the Halifax Region. Our breakfast food was provided and we prepared it ourselves, according to our own timeline. Since our accommodation was separated from the main house, we didn't have to be concerned with causing anyone a disturbance whenever we left or returned. The location was quite handy to the ferry to Halifax, as well as to the Angus MacDonald Bridge. Our hosts, Bill & Norma, were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They provided us with helpful suggestions for getting around, enjoying meals, etc. In fact, it seemed as though we were staying with family.

Staying at the Knightswood carriage house is literally like being invited into the home of the family you never thought you had! Bill and Norma Welcomed us into their home and their hearts and made us feel more welcome than we ever thought possible in a bed and breakfast! ||The accommodation was so homey and comfortable and The home itself so fascinating with endless artefacts from all over the world as well as photographs showing the story of the lives of two incredible human beings!||If you need somewhere to stay in Dartmouth, please make this your first choice...Your experience visiting Halifax will be greatly enhanced! ||Thank you again for having us both of you!||Much love! ||The Serafi family!

We stayed in the carriage house for 3 nights during July, 2018. It's a relaxing and peaceful experience in this cozy cottage-like house. It's more than a B&B, it's a self catering "home" that you not only get enough free materials for your breakfast, but also have full facilities to live like in your own home, cooking, laundry and everything else. It's located just 10 minutes drive away from the busy city center, yet you feel hiding in quiet woods, a well maintained garden and 2 minutes to a beautiful lake. Norma and Bill are not only friendly, they treated us like we have met them before........Highly recommended!

Bill and Norma make you feel right at home immediately. With their 20+ years in the business, they have perfected the Bed and Breakfast trade. Not only were the breakfasts superb but they set a magnificent table with beautiful linens and dishes.||The tour of the garden was an added bonus and their recommendation for us to seek out Fisherman's Cove was greatly appreciated. We loved it!||If you come to Halifax, don't discount Dartmouth as it has much to offer and enjoy!

Norma and Bill made us feel welcome even before we arrived with our 3 kids in tow. They called to confirm details and ensure they were well prepared for our stay. It felt like home at their place, with comfortable rooms and delicious home-cooked, full breakfasts to send us on our way for the day. When we returned, we enjoyed spending time sharing stories, music and drinks before heading to bed. A truly memorable and treasured experience for us and our children.

The carriage house is lovely: comfortable, cosy, clean and well-maintained. Personal touches included fresh veggies from the garden as well as home-made muffins, jam and relish. The hosts are friendly and helpful. It's in a great location. We made use of the full kitchen and laundry facilities. They've got Wifi, too. We hope to stay there again in future.
