Had a fantastic hike, mid-May. The blossoms were opening, little leaves unfurling, and a lovely little Smooth Green snake was warming itself along the path! The trail was very clear and well-kept, with vegetation kept under control (only met three ticks the whole way, between two people! Kudos to the folks doing trail maintenance. It's much appreciated!) Some very lovely, gnarled old trees, doing their best under harsh conditions, and stellar views of rocky cove after cove. We will be back!

A shout out to the volunteers who maintain these trails; especially whoever whipped sniped the whole trail. The hike from the parking up the gravelled woods road to the trail is a good workout;but, worth it.

This is my number 1 suggestion for tourists visiting the area. There are two out and back hikes and they are both worth the time. One of the best coast line views you will see.

Wow! Not so much the trails that are amazing but the shoreline! Spent quite a bit of time just walking the rocks and enjoying the "wildness" of this place.

The views are spectacular, watch out for the ticks.
We parked by the coast and then walked the ~5km hike to on top of the cliffs. Do not try to drive up by the windmills! The trail was pretty steep at the start, and once you are in the bush it's not not well marked (but it's well travelled). We enjoyed the walk., the wildlife, and the view at the top of the cliff. We then walked back down to the car, drove to balancing rock, picking wood ticks off us the entire way. I must have pulled a dozen or more off me, my friends had to pick of even more. Wood ticks apparently don't carry lyme disease, but it still wasn't a great experience. If it wasn't for the ticks, this would have been 4 stars +
