Nous sommes un couple de 38-42 ans et avons séjourné 1 nuit. C’est une charmante maison calme, relaxante, et très bien située.
C’est un endroit parfait pour faire une halte, avec la vue sur l’eau.

La chambre est très confortable, très propre, salle de bain moderne avec douche de pluie, et avec une magnifique vue sur l’eau.

Le couple est accueillant, bienveillant, et gentil.
Nous avons eu des bonnes suggestions pour découvrir la région, ainsi que des bonnes adresses pour manger.

Le petit déjeuner est copieux et de qualité.
Vraiment surpris et content d’avoir pu choisir comme option une omelette aux pétoncles pour le petit déjeuner. Également, la confiture était très bonne. Vaste choix de thé.

Par ailleurs, c’est un endroit sécuritaire pour la communauté LGBT+.

Nous avons passé un bon moment et je recommande ce charmant B&B.

Des hôtes charmants et attentifs. Une maison magnifique, propreté absolue, chambre très confortable, avec vue sur la mer et le port de Digby. Petit-déjeuner succulent et généreux. Bref, une étape incontournable.

Wonderful views from the B&B over the harbour. We had the Vye Room and the views from the bed are amazing. The modern shower and comfortable bed were so welcoming after a day touring. Henry and Lynda are very friendly and helpful hosts with a good sense of humour. Breakfasts, set at a certain time, are different each day. |It is close to the harbour and next to a friendly pub serving home-made burgers. I’d definitely recommend staying there.

We stayed at this charming B & B on July 16 during a little tour of Nova Scotia. We booked the Rutherford Room which was a generous size and had a view of the harbour. The common area balcony was a good place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine from a local winery we visited, it has a great view of the water. A beverage fridge is available in the dining room for guests to use should you need to chill any bevies you brought along. Henry & Linda were wonderful hosts sharing their knowledge of the area. Henry's breakfast of fruit parfait, waffle with chocolate filling and scallops egg Benedict were fantastic!! Thanks to you both for a great stay in Digby.

The property exceeded our expectations. Henry, the proprietor was very welcoming and cordial in addition to being a wealth of local knowledge. Our room was very spacious and despite the house being over 100 years old, our bathroom fixtures rivaled the most luxurious hotels. There is a very comfortable sitting room with a large TV and the view from the balcony is fantastic. Our breakfast was gourmet.

This is a gem and we feel so lucky to have stayed here for 2 lovely nights. Our hosts couldn't have been more lovely and their pride in their home and town is evident. Breakfast was Henry's forte and we had eggs bacon hollandaise and of course Digby scallops, fruit and yoghurt and the most divine waffles. Lovely to chat with other guests too, very sociable encounter. We had the large front facing bedroom with a super large high bed, so comfy. Lush fancy shower too. Cannot fault this beautiful B&B.

Can't recommend Hillside B&B enough. Everything was 10/10. We had the Rutherford room and was a fantastic size and the comfort level superb from bed and linen to the very modern shower faucet! Communal areas were so homely with tea and coffee available all day AND a delicious home cooked oatcake to go with it. Games, jigsaws, binoculars a bonus. The verandah was so relaxing, taking in the vista of Digby. We could of stayed for a week. Now the hosts, Henry and Linda, were the friendliest kindest people and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast blew us away, not only fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, but also home made waffles and then the scallops hollandaise with poached egg, bacon and muffin. Delicious. Thank you so much Henry for your hospitality and Linda for your kitchen skills, you made our stay so memorable.
