I have attended two plays at this theatre: the Sound of Music and the Little Mermaid. They were both done beautifully however the first few rows have obstructed views of the stage. There should be a warning when booking the tickets. I have been to other theatres that have their speakers either in built in sections of the stage or on the floor so they do not block the view. At this theatre however the speakers are placed right on top the stage so me and my family unfortunately could not see a lot of the little mermaid performance.

I recently had the pleasure of attending The Sound of Music at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre, and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue itself is charming and intimate making it the perfect setting for such a beloved musical.

The performances were outstanding, with the cast bringing incredible energy and emotion to their roles. The singing was beautiful, and the choreography was both engaging and well-executed. It was clear that a lot of hard work and passion went into this production.

Attend acting classes, guitar and vocal lessons as well as the Hamilton Film Festival at the centre. It’s a beautiful establishment with amazing staff! Always clean and the parents lounge is lovely.

I've attended 4 concerts at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre and it's something out of this world. Both the small studio and the large theater boast fantastic acoustics. The lighting is superb. The large theater boasts super comfy chairs with plenty of leg room. There isn't a bad viewpoint anywhere. Plenty of free parking. It doesn't get any better than this. Oh yeah, the bar is well stocked too 🙂

What a lovely concert venue. Went to see the Sinfonia Ancaster. The acoustics are really good. There is plenty of parking and lots of really nice restaurants within short walking distance. There is a bar and a small gallery. If you are going to an event here you are in for a treat.

Last evening I saw The Sound of Music. I was astounded by the performance! The acting & singing were so professional for a small town show, I'll definitely be returning for more. No need to go to Toronto any longer.....
