Petite chambre, mal isolée. La porte laissait entrer assez d'air pour qu'on s'y sente tel un congélateur. On nous a changé la chambre, mais il a fallu payer plus cher. Peu ou pas de service, il a fallu même demander le papier hygiénique. Ce n'est pas un endroit où j'encouragerais les gens d'aller. Désolée, c'est très décevant.

Je suis allé une fois et pu jamais. Lit très inconfortable. L'air climatisé central qui refroidi très peu. Et ça aurait besoin d'un coup de jeunesse. Tout est vieux. Vraiment pas contente.

Despite some of the less savvy previous reviews, the primary attributes I will describe my stay would be clean and affordable.

Plenty of amenities nearby with food and drink. Well lit parking close to your room. The staff was friendly. The bathroom was clean. Wifi was good, and smart TV had a variety of streaming services included.

For its price, this place is exactly what I expected, and suitable for a comfortable stay; we would rent again.

Only positive for this place was the Chuck's Roadhouse just across the road.

I stayed here with some colleagues for a week. Inn staff were pleasant but generally unhelpful when it came to standard of cleanliness and professionalism.

My room had puddles of water on the floor when I checked in, and friends that were staying there was well received stained bedsheets and towels on multiple occasions. One friend could not drain their shower until they cleared clumps of hair from blocking the drain. Another person had a ceiling tile fall out of the ceiling, which did not get fixed during the duration of our stay.

Some rooms didn't lock at all.

Additionally, since the rooms were in suite set up, inside my room the connecting door to the neighboring room was left unlocked when I occupied it, leaving it unsecured for a stranger to come in from the neighboring room.

Whenever the room got "cleaned", I came back to the room to see a set of sheets crumpled in a pile in a corner. I don't know if they ever changed the bedding or if they just came in to make the bed.

Just some points to consider if you are thinking of staying here.

Definitely recommend anyone to book with Borden Inn, the manager and his wife are really nice and so his the cleaning lady. The times I had questions, they were answered and when I asked to change rooms due to needing a stove to cook for my son (since we were going to stay here for awhile) we were moved to a suite. There’s a laundry room on site which is definitely a bonus.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel multiple times, and it has consistently been a wonderful experience that keeps me coming back whenever I need accommodation. The management and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure that my family and I feel at home. They are especially friendly with my children, which makes our stays even more enjoyable.

The rooms are well-equipped and have been recently updated, providing a modern and comfortable environment. The beds are cozy, and are more than sufficient for a pleasant stay. The bathrooms are particularly impressive, with modern fixtures and excellent water pressure that makes for a refreshing shower experience.

Additionally, the hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. The overall atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect choice for both short and extended stays. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Close to Barrie and not too pricey. Room was small, floorboard connecting bathroom to main room broke almost immediately, uncomfortable pillows and sheets, annoying tv remote that tried to prevent us from plugging in our laptop to watch.

In addition, no order whatsoever to parking. Had to park at front and walk around the whole building through the snow to get to my room, despite my room having a parking spot in front. Someone took it and when I asked about it at the front desk they said they wouldn't even try to do anything about it.
