The rooms are mediocre, but fine for price. Nothing really to get food/drink within walking distance. Overall, I ould stay again.

I had a very good experience with this motel both on the phone and in person. My ratings are based on what I was expecting and not comparing it to a modern hotel. It was decent for a roadside motel. The room was clean but rough around the edges. I had a good sleep on the bed and it had the best water pressure for the shower that I've ever experienced at a hotel/motel.

I’d stay away from the colonial motel and find something more worth your money. My mother in law got my family a room for the night as we visited for a family day. We got there late, around 11pm. It was kind of cold in the room so we turned on the heater. About an hour after we noticed red ants coming from the heater to which was odd but we didn’t think anything of it. However, it got to about 2am and I had started to feel something bite my legs and feet. Almost like a sting. I lifted the blankets up and I had 2 or 3 ants under my blankets. My family and I did not feel comfortable sleeping there and had to take our 1 year old son to a a better hotel. As we expressed this to the manager, they admitted they know of the ant problem but they did not want to treat it. We were then blamed for bringing food in the motel and that we aren’t supposed to have food in the rooms. I couldn’t believe it. We are not messy people and cleaned up after ourselves. This was a bad experience as I am also 8 months pregnant and have a 1 year old son with me. Terrible customer service. Terrible motel. Do better

I must post a WARNING to all renters. These rooms must be plagued with hidden mold problems which are a hazard to your health. Our room had cracked plastic in the shower stalls which will no doubt harbor water which leads to mold inside the walls. Plastering over them does not solve the contamination of the air, and the bathroom fan only makes mold spores spread in the air. Mike Holmes on his HOLMES INSPECTION TV series would have a serious concern for renters of this Motel. Sorry to let the owners know this, but I'm concerned about the health of the public.

I needed a room big enough for 6 people. This motel has rooms that are plenty big enough. There were 3 beds, and a pull out couch. Plenty of pillows and blankets supplied. Beds were comfortable. The room was really clean, and smelled great. Mini fridge and microwave were handy to have. Owners were really nice and helpful. The shower was the only downside. Not enough strength for my liking. I would recommend this motel, and will definitely stay again if I find myself in need of a room in Chatham.

Stayed here while I was between homes. The owners are amazing wonderful people. The rooms are clean. Motel is quiet and there's internet, AC and cable. What more could you ask for.

Beautiful motel. Loved the retro (bathroom) feel but also very updated in our room.
Staff is nice . Grassy areas in front to run around. Plenty of sitting areas outside. Wifi was good!
Definitely will stay again!
