We rented the wooden tents, great experience, clean toilet and shower available and Laurie delivered wood went requested. Also stop by numerous times just to ensure we had everything we needed and all was good.

Four of us booked a three hour fat tyre bike tour with local guy adventures. Laurie was there at the appointed time with bikes and helmets. We had a fantastic ride along the beach, the fat tyre bikes were excellent and really fun to ride. Laurie was full of stories and local information which was fascinating. Our tour finished with substantial snacks at Laurie’s house including delicious home made sourdough, kombucha and seaweed.

Laurie was the best tour guide I’ve ever met. He took us on a gorgeous hike through the woods and up a river to a gorgeous slot canyon, only getting even prettier as we went along. Laurie went at a speed that was perfectly comfortable for everybody, and made sure everybody was safe without stifling us or ruining the fun of anything, such as giving a helping hand and using his own safety harnesses and ropes to ensure that everything is up to safety standards. He encouraged us to go under the waterfall and took amazing photos and videos of us. We were pushed out of our comfort zones, trying new things, in such a way that we were never afraid or uncomfortable while we did it, such as rock climbing and rappelling. After our gorgeous hike and making amazing memories, he took us back to his beautiful house where we were served delicious cookies and amazing home brewed kombucha. It was at this point we realized we left the car keys at the hiking trail and couldn’t start the car again. Laurie took us all in his own truck back to the trail and helped us look for the car keys. When we couldn’t find them, we slowly headed back, still looking on the road for them. We found them in the middle of the road somehow, and got our car started again completely safely. This hike was the highlight of our vacation, beating out deep sea fishing, whale watching, sea kayaking, and a number of other very fun activities.

My family of 4, booked a hike with Laurie to see George Fraser falls. Amazing adventure, very generous and kind tour guide! Laurie was very engaging with my 2 girls and we all had such fun getting wet and rappelling some rock faces! Recommended to anyone.
