We just returned from a canoe and camping trip to Quetico, outfitted by Quetico Outfitters. This is a top notch business, and we were blown away by the attention to detail, the high quality canoe and gear we were outfitted with and the overnight stay and meals at the camp before we began our trip. The camp is SPOTLESS, which was unreal to us, and everything seemed to run like clockwork. Barry Giles knows his stuff and it behooves people to listen closely to his views and instructions on planning a safe, memorable paddling experience. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast, and my dietary need of it being gluten free was attended to so thoughtfully. What a value, what an excellent outfitter!

I've made a couple of trips into Quetico park and stayed here before going in. I've also rented canoes and transport to Stanton Bay. Great people, great place to stay. I didn't try all their food, but the breakfast was very good.||Good communication, very easy to deal with. I'll be back.

My friend and I launched our Quetico canoe trip after staying overnight in one of the cabins. We were picked up from the airport later than Camp Quetico would normally pick up, but they were very gracious about it. Dinner was waiting for us at the cabin. My friend and I could not believe how clean and comfortable the cabin was. We have been to other places which seem dingy/dirty but Camp Quetico was immaculate. Barry picked out a good route for us and pick up to and from the launch was reliable and timely. I highly recommend Camp Quetico.

My wife and I came for the first time this year for 5 nights, 4 full days fishing. We have been to many Ontario lodges around Nestor Falls, Kenora and float plane rides north. This lodge is the best we have ever been to. We are coming back next year. We wanted to fish for smallmouth bass exclusively, and our guides were very accomodating. We wanted no shore lunches, takes up too much fishing time. The lodge packed us a large sandwich on homemade multigrain bread, fruit, chips and homemade cookies every day. Breakfast was different every day and wonderful. Dinners were all 3 course. As an example, steak night was ribeye, potatoes, aspragus, a homemade cheddar bisquit, a salad and a very nice dessert. All meals were perfect. They gave us a nice very clean and comfortable cabin with water view and close to the main lodge, lots of room. We caught about 45-60 smallmouth bass 3 days and 144 smallmouth another day. Biggest was 5 pounds. Each day we would get about 6-10 walleye even though we were not fishing for them and probably 10-15 Northern pike. We brought our own tackle, caught fish on Wacky rigs, Ned rigs and swim baits. We used 10 pound weigjt flourocarbon line. The boats had 60 HP Yamahas and swivel seats, one of the guides had live scope in his boat, the other guide had regular fish finder. The lodge does not have a liquor license, so we brought a bottle of wine to the dinner table every evening and they provoded the wine glasses.

This place is the king of accommodating paddlers and regular motorboat fishermen with delicious breakfasts and suppers. The cabins are the best! I have stayed in both Atikokan hotels and I will always be staying at camp Quetico in the future.

Camp Quetico is a hidden gem in northern Ontario. My husband and I arrived with three other couples for a camping excursion in Quetico Provincial Park and we were all blown away by the beautiful setting and the outstanding service provided by Barry, Tammy and the rest of the Camp Quetico team. Barry arranged for us to be picked up at the Thunder Bay airport and driven to the camp where we spent our first night in a very comfortable, clean and well-appointed cabin. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the lovely dining room overlooking the lake, followed by a camp fire as the sun set.
The next day we headed off on a 3-night/4-day camping trip led by our outstanding guide, Brian Wraight, a true camping expert in every way. Brian was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, professional and very patient in relation to the range of camping experience/understanding across our group. He guided us safely to beautiful camp sites each night and prepared a roster of great meals to keep us all satisfied and energized throughout the trip. What a treat to wake up each morning and have fresh coffee handed to you as you roll out of your tent!
Barry arranged and provided all of our equipment and gear, from canoes and paddles, to tents and sleeping bags, and everything in between. It was all high quality gear that kept us warm, dry and paddling smoothly.
On our last day, we were picked up at our meeting place on time and with complimentary cold drinks ready and waiting for us. We spent one more night at Camp Quetico where we had hot showers, another delicious dinner and the best sleep(s) ever.
Thank you Barry, Tammy & Brian and the rest of the team for your warm hospitality and incredible service. I can't think of a thing that you didn't take care of for us. You made our first trip to Quetico a most special and memorable experience.
