Perfect place to see stars & milky way! We visited their Sky / Star view event on the new moon of 17th June 2023 hosted by Devin. We met many amazing people there who were very generous to share their knowledge with us about different stars & galaxies; also allowed us to looked through their amazing big telescopes. Bluewater Astronomical society educates children about natural phenomena, which is absolutely excellent work! Amazed by their passion towards astronomy. Sky event on June 17, 2023 hosted by Devin was very informative and we saw beautiful view of galaxies and stars through their huge telescope and pictures captured by it. The OEC is a right of passage for all children in Grey and Bruce. Your time there is fun and informative. The teachers there are very knowledgeable and truly seem to enjoy what they do. I wish they would open the property up to the public in the subservience the kids aren't in school but sadly, this is not the case. Not everyone is going to enjoy all their time there as you can see from the picture of my daughter and me. They have a very large number of taxidermy animals and a whole bunch of pelts as well. My daughter has a giant soft spot for animals and this was very hard for her to see. We had to leave the classroom during this time but other than that, the OEC is a great place to learn and explore nature.

I loved coming here for class trips as a child, and now my kids enjoy their trips and day camps here. So much fun for kids that love to explore and have fun!
