We had a wonderful family vacation at the Deer Park Lodge. The cottage was very clean, organized and comfortable. We loved having our own fire pit, barbecue and picnic table.
The beach was beautiful and the pool was great. The kids loved the playground and enjoyed playing on the swings, slide, basketball court and sand box.

Deer Park Lodge is the perfect place for a family vacation! We love that is is dog friendly so we are able to bring everyone along for the trip. It's perfect for our friends reunion as each family has their own cottage and space to relax and make meals. The cottage itself was very clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The beach is incredible. The play area for the kids in the middle is amazing for everyone to meet up. Can't recommend this place enough. We have also noticed each year we go back little upgrades and improvements around the property that will keep us coming back!

We spent the weekend at Deer Park Lodge and it was incredible! We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids and a dog and this was the perfect place! It had everything we needed right on site. There is a large area for the kids to play - swing set, toys, slides, sandbox, swimming pool. The kids kept themselves entertained for hours. The beach is beautiful with lots of chairs and umbrellas available and it was such a quick walk from our cottage. Our cottage was very clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals each day. Our cottage (the Bayfield) was also very spacious more than enough room for our whole family. We cannot wait to come back!

My family and I have been going to Deer Park Lodge for many years and will continue to do so. Cottages are always spotless upon arrival and stocked with everything you need. The beach is gorgeous with tons of chairs and umbrellas for everyone in your party. Love walking down to the beach and catching a beautiful sunset while enjoying a nice fire. Deer park lodge is perfect for any family, playground for the kids with lots of room for them to run around. Cottages have wifi and park is dog friendly!! Looking forward to our next stay!

Deer Park Lodge is the perfect Lake Huron Getaway. Located in beautiful Bayfield, close to the marina, this place is magical. Cozy Cottages are located on top of the hill with amenities such as kids play ground and pool. The beach is the best in the entire area with the most beautiful sunsets. This is the kind of place you book once and then it becomes a family tradition. Kirsten and staff are lovely and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

First time booking here and it was a fantastic experience! Booking was easy! Cottage was perfect for what we needed as a family of 4 with 2 kids! The grounds had areas for the kids to go play and as parents, we didn’t worry where they were and we could relax. The beach was never busy unlike public beaches. You get chairs dedicated to you for your whole stay so no need to worry about getting down to the beach early morning each day. Dog friendly! Our last night there we met another family and enjoyed a bon fire on the beach! We have already booked in for next year! Don’t miss out on the sunsets every night!

So came back for a return trip to Deer Park three years after my first, awesome experience. This time, it was a girl’s weekend. We rented the whole penthouse building and we had a fabulous time- the sunsets from the penthouse or on the beach, the very relaxed vibe on the resort grounds, cycling into town for shopping and dinner ! All so fun and so easy - the beach was as spectacular as I remember it, our accommodations sparkling clean, and incredibly reasonable pricing. Still amazing!
