Cute little downtown as a center of Collingwood tourism zone with many restaurants, trendy bistros, cafes, shops and boutiques. Really great atmosphere, houses are picturesque, here is enough parking space and you are close to the water. You can also find a museum, grocery store and various other businesses here.

Very interesting with 100 + historical places (Well do not expect old history like 5000 years Egypt 😉). Interesting restaurants with decent variety of food. Of course you must try all beaches near by.

Was out of my car for 10mins to pick up a case for my cell phone and came back to a $20 ticket. This will be the last time shopping downtown Collingwood. I wanted to shop local but collingwood doesn't promote shop local. Back to Amazon. Business are hurting.. to ticket a shopper is wrong.

Nicely laid out and easy to traverse. Lots of variety in shops and eating places. Even though I was there on a Stat holiday and it was a busy area .. the town is large enough so that everyone was spread out comfortably. I made only one small purchase in a small shop but was impressed by the friendliness of the owner and the coziness of the shop. A nice environment.
