The accommodation was exceptionally clean, with a completely smoke-free environment and no unpleasant odors. The service was warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen facilities were fully equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable and convenient experience. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, with a cozy lobby where guests could relax and enjoy unlimited coffee. Additionally, the property is pet-friendly, which was a great bonus.

The location is about a 15-minute drive from Blue Mountain Ski Resort, offering a perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. There are numerous supermarkets nearby, making it an excellent choice for family trips.

If you have noise sensitivity, do not stay on the side of the hotel where the main road is - it is super noisy all the time. The staff kindly moved me to another suite (there is still construction noise, but at least that is temporary - the traffic noise went til very late and woke me up at 7:00 am). The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. If it weren't for the location and the beds being a tad soft (and the first clerk ignoring my plea for a quiet room) it would be 5 stars all the way!

After a long day hitting the slopes at Blue Mountain, my girlfriend and I decided it would be best to stay overnight in Collingwood rather than making the drive home. We first stopped at the Holiday Inn, but they quoted us an outrageous $400 for the night. I was shocked—$400 for a Holiday Inn on a regular Friday night? I’ve stayed in five-star hotels in Tokyo for less than that! Frustrated, I decided to check out the adjacent property.

From the moment I walked in, the experience was completely different. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering us a room for $220. While still on the pricier side, it felt much more reasonable given the circumstances. Once we got to our room, though, I realized it was worth every penny. The space was spotless, cozy, and well-appointed, and the quality of the entire facility far exceeded my expectations.

The staff was warm and accommodating throughout our stay, making it an entirely pleasant experience. If I ever return to Collingwood, I won’t think twice about where to stay—this property will always be my first choice.

We loved our stay, the front desk agent at check in & out are both very friendly and helpful. The room is extremely clean. It takes a lot of care to have a good cleaning standard and we really appreciate that. My daughter loved the unicorn sticker our housekeeper left on the note. Will definitely come back.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. I loved the way the room was laid out, especially that we had a kitchen since there was a blackout and we were able to keep food in the fridge and were able to make ourselves breakfast (blackout- nothing open in the area). It's the first time in a long while that we were enthusiastic about our hotel!

The best hotel I’ve stayed in Collingwood. It’s more like a condo suite actually. The room was spacious, everything was brand new and super clean. Very comfortable king size bed. So quiet at night. Staffs were very friendly. 10+ minutes driving to the ski resort. Definitely will stay here again next time.

We had a great stay at the Candlewood Suites. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and it was close to all amenities. Blue Mountain resort was a short (15min) drive away. Although we didn’t use the kitchenette as we were only staying one night, this was the perfect room for someone looking for a getaway with the ability to prepare your own meals. We will stay again when we return to the area again and have no hesitations in recommending this hotel!

Located in a construction area, without view. Just two large dustbins from my window.

No breakfast service.

No gym or swimming.

Good hotel for sleep only.
