C'est un vieux motel mais bien entretenu et propre. Les chambres disposent d'un frigo, d'une cafetière (café non fourni), d'un grille-pain, d'un micro-onde, d'une télé HD et d'une table et deux chaises. En plus, il y a de l'espace. Le lit est confortable et c'est silencieux même si près de la Trans Canadienne. Le prix est raisonnable. Juste dommage que le personnel ne comprenne pas le français dans une région à majorité francophone....Pas très bon pour le tourisme francophone que le secteur veut attirer. Mais c'est ça le bilinguisme canadien ! J'oubliais de dire qu'il y a deux BBQ au gaz de disponibles pour la clientèle.

Best value in town. Clean rooms. Parking at the door and not crowded. Stumbling distance to Chucks Roadhouse and Papa’s. Bed was perfect for me. Great water pressure in the shower.
Perfect for the out of town worker and the associated long term stay.

We have stayed here at least once every five years for snowmobiling. Upon check-in, Steve always remembers us and is very accommodating. Our rooms are always very clean and the beds are quite comfortable. The OFSC “A” Trail is directly accessible across the road. There is always snow in the parking lot for our sleds. Walking access to restaurants. Very reasonable for everything you need for a sledding access point to many beautiful trails. Hope to be back next year!

Stayed here 1 year ago. Meat truck running outside rooms all night. Owner told me its a friend he lets sell meat in his parking lot. Noisy as heck with his truck and reefer running all night.
No coffee machine in room. REAL basic room.
Was back that way recently.
Owner wouldn't even rent me a room because I have dog in truck.
Told him dog always in truck, I go out to smoke and walk her. Could wife and I have room on ground floor.
Scowly look and refused to rent to me.
LOL poor business skills, bad attitude.
Poor service last time anyway.
Went to motel down the street, same price, very quiet and even had a kitchenette!
Thanks to the owner we had a much better stay anyway 😉

I travel for work and I stay in a lot of motels. I love finding these family owned gems. |My room was great. The bed is comfortable and so are the pillows. There's cable and flat screen tv's. The wifi is excellent! |There's windows that open and also a screen door. I love letting the fresh air flow though. The AC is good for those really hot days. I never ran out of hot water. |The owners are very nice and friendly! They always say hello with a smile on their face and they were very accommodating. I'll definitely go back there to stay and the price is right!!

Best motel of the area
Literally I searched on the internet i found one of the best motel of the kapuskasing and hearst area of the motel
So I recommend all of the guys to come and stay here best rooms safe and secure and all the services are the available in the rooms like in the bathrooms tv are given in the rooms i can say it’s fully worth it to stay here.

I arrived in Kapuskasing later in the day during the off season - when I entered the office the manager gave me a $10 discount on the rate which I took. When I went to my first room it smelled like electronics burning so I went back and asked for a different room, which he promptly gave me before going to the room to check what the issue was.||||I only read the prior reviews after I'd checked in - I think the facility has had a change in management as it advertises that it's newly renovated, and it looks it. The update gave the facility a 'old building with recent updates' vibe to it. The room I got was a single bed with attached bathroom that is efficiency / low cost yet clean. The internet service was surprisingly good, and the room had some additional outlets installed which is a nice-to-have when you have a collection of devices that need power. The only thing I'd wished they'd changed was the TV - it's small for the size of room particularly if you're watching from the bed. ||||The service was good, and overall I'd be fine with recommending this to other cost-conscious travelers.
