The public beach is quite accessible for swimmers or people with aquatic devises. Family and pet friendly. Around the lake there are walking trails or you may walk along the roads that surround the lake.

The beach with public access at the south end of the lake is quite weedy. Good fishing in some spots.

You can’t even swim in it most of the time, you will literally get diseases. I wouldn’t let my arch nemesis swim in that water.

Head Lake holds a special place in my heart, growing up there at my grandparents place my whole life. The annual community corn roast is really fun! Water is always nice whether you're boating, fishing, or swimming, and plenty of trails to walk around and explore the Queen's land. Private roads are unpaved and in constant state of disarray but should be expected in the deep bush country. Truly a hidden gem in Kawartha Lakes.

Had a camping trip there once, now those are memories that I'll never forget...

Swimming across the bay was like something out of a movie, there's alot of quartz in the area if your into that kinda thing.

This lake was quite big but on maps it looks small🗺. We went to this lake by going to Queen Elizabeth II Provincial Park. This lake is a great view for taking photos.📷
