À 265$ la nuit, on a l’impression de s’être fait avoir. Un hôtel en rénovation, de la poussière dans la chambre, un tapis abîmé de même que le mobilier de la chambre à coucher. Ventilateur de la salle de bain extrêmement bruyant et remplie de poussière. Un réservoir de toilette ? qui prend un temps fou pour se remplir. Des débarbouillettes tachés. Une salle pour déjeuner avec des chaises ? abimés et des choix limités pour manger.

I’m not sure why this location has such mediocre reviews.
The rooms were nice and clean. The facility was kept tidy and the people at the front desk were friendly. We showed up before 3pm and had no problem being checked in early even though we booked through a third party website and didn’t call in about early check in.
I would definitely return.

Summary: Quiet, great customer service, a little hard to find, pool wasn’t available (as of July 3 2024) - you should call and check if that’s something you want. Wish there was a more clear hotel title.

We booked at New Market Hotel and Suites, and was very confused on the name change, but it’s okay. It was very peaceful and every guest was quiet and polite. The best part of the hotel truly was the staff: friendly, helpful, and it really felt like they cared about the guests and area. The only downside really was just the location, as it was hard to find, but if you’re not a pigeon like me it’s great lol. It’s conveniently by the highway to make traveling easy. Near stores, gas stations, a plaza/eateries across the street, and banks which was super helpful. I understand they’re putting the finishing touches on the building after remodeling (trust me, it’s nice), but I wish the pool was finished, and I wished the vending machine on our floor was stocked.

We had a one night stay. Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfy! Pool was not available as it is under construction. Breakfast was your average hotel breakfast. Would stay again. Staff were friendly and professional.

First of all, I booked a room at the Newmarket Hotel and Suites , not Fairfield Inn Marriott so it took me a while to find the hotel. There was no big "100 Pony Dr" anywhere to be found either so I took chance and luckily I was right.

It seem like the hotel is being redone. That's great but on the hottest day of the year, it was disappointing to find no ice machine on my floor as promised. I also couldn't find a vending machine.

Everything else was great... the room was clean and the bathroom was beautiful. I loved the breakfast and the staff were wonderful.

Awful experience and customer service from Valentino during our stay. A terribly rude and condescending individual to be representing your company at the front desk (I am a younger female and this very clearly reflected how he spoke to me vs my boyfriend when we talked about the issue).

Was in town for a family wedding. Our room had no shower pressure (dribbling). We dealt with it for the Friday evening and took a video to show/ flag this to them in the morning, they said they’d send someone to look while we were out. We returned hours later and nothing had changed. Went down to let them know we were back.

I told him it was no problem because we have multiple other rooms of family members so we would shower in their rooms but was looking for any kind of compensation or even just simply understanding and being apologetic about this huge inconvenience. He offered no sympathy or solution other than changing rooms. Due to timeline of getting ready and leaving for the wedding we did not have the time to pack everything up and change rooms at this point. As part of our very brief interaction on the topic, he told me multiple times that “you could have moved rooms in the time it took you to tell me what’s wrong and complain” as if it wasn’t ok for me to be coming to ask about / “complaining” about the fact that I’m paying for a hotel room with a non functioning shower, even though I was being flexible in offering the solution of being ok with showering in a family members room.

This experience could have gone so different if he had just even faked being sorry and not acting as if I had no right be standing in front of him with this problem.

Stayed here a few times for work. I have read many of the reviews. I will give you an honest opinion. The room is very nice and clean. The bed is very comfortable! The shower is hit or miss sometimes there is only hot water and other times there is only cold water. I’ve asked about it a couple times and have been told the same excuse each time that the valve isn’t working correctly and they are working on it lol when you flush the toilet, there is an incredibly loud whistling sound that comes from the toilet when it is refilling the breakfast is OK it’s your typical hotel breakfast. Nothing fancy but it will do. Juice is very good and cold at the breakfast station coffee not very good and Luke warm. Luckily there is a nice Tim Hortons just down the road by the no-frills grocery store Great location usually hassle, free, checking in and out will recommend the hotel, but would be nice to have some of the minor I would say things looked at.

Horrible experience at the Newmarket, ON location. We went into the hotel itself to book a room, they told me they were booked up, but there were 2 rooms just coming available on the second floor that was still under renovation. So, I took the room and when we arrived in it, there were some nails found by the window, there was 3 holes to still be covered (1 of which had live wires), the carbon monoxide detector was covered in plastic, there was long hair on the counter top in the bathroom, the shower doors didn't close properly so we had a big puddle of water, there were tears in the wall paper, when we called about the pool hours she told us it was not open as it was under renovations. I asked her why she didn't mention this to us when we checked in, she stated it was on all the 3rd party web sites, so I said I didn't book on the web sites, I came in person to the front desk, so you should have told me, and the kicker they charged us full price of $289.99 plus a $250 security deposit. My total bill for one night was $577.87. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, not even if they were desperate, I'd slept in my vehicle next time. Horrible experience. The staff was rude, the lady from the breakfast was ignorant and degraded the patrons...
