I'd highly recommend Opeongo Lake Guide Service for anyone looking to catch some serious Lake Trout in the Algonquin area. Jay is a very knowledgeable guide, friendly, and he really knows his way around the lake. Jay also cooked me up a tasty shore lunch that I won’t forget. I had an amazing time on the water and can't wait to book another trip with him.

Shoutout to Steph, who I talked with on the phone. She's the one who made this fishing trip happen! Thanks to her expertise, organization, and awesome attitude, everything went smoothly.

Highly suggest checking them out if you're planning a fishing trip in the area!

Jay was an excellent guide for our tour. He has the skills, equipment, and knowledge to keep your fishing lines busy and full of catches. Shore lunch was a great addition. Nearby faculties and a small general store right by the launch dock. Best charter I've been on in years!

We had an absolutely terrific day with Jason! My best day fishing! We caught about 30 lake trout!!!! He shared his tips, knowledge and expertise with us, all for the love of fishing! He is patient, a great communicator and loves his job! We learned so much from him. I would not hesitate to recommend booking a day with him. It’s worth every penny! #OpeongoLakeGuideService
