Just a quick comment on Northern Lights .
In July of 2024 a number of our family spent a fantastic week here at Northern Lights .
We stayed in the lodge with two of our grandkids and the rest had their own cabins
The kids also rented the pontoon boat which was used on a regular basis.
Not one complaint , and our hosts Candice and Owen were delightful.
I know everiyone is looking forward to returning in 2025.
My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned for a few nights in October.
See you Candice and Owen come July !

My Dad, brother, myself and my dads girlfriend attended this resort two summers ago and it was absolutely beautiful!!! So well taken care of, the staff are absolutely amazing to everyone who stays. More than willing to help you out with any questions of the area and the cabins are very clean! So pleased with our experience here and I know we will all be back very soon 🙂

My wife and I just returned from two fabulous weeks at Northern Lights. We didn't hesitate to already book for next year!! My son and his infant children were with us in their own cottage for one of the weeks and he already booked too. There are many reasons we think so highly - the owners, Candice and Owen could not have been more hospitable and welcoming. For example our boats are bailed out if it rains and if we need gas, we just need to leave our tanks on the boat seat and every morning and evening it is checked and filled! Who does that? Not any other place we have been.
The fishing was terrific and there is a fish house for cleaning. We had a big fish fry one night. Each cabin had firewood and a fire pit. The nights we had fires on the shore of the lake were beautiful and are simply memorable. Just writing this makes me wan to go back and not have to wait a year.

First time staying here this summer. Great cabins, amazing owners. They go above and beyond, are very accommodating. Boats were kept in great condition. Awesome fishing. Just all around amazing week away! I’m so glad we found this place and can not wait to go back next summer!!

Candice and Owen ( owners) were amazing. They went above and beyond with everything. Very hospitable and great to talk to. Provided maps for both the surrounding areas for activities and maps for the lakes. The cabin (#8) was very clean, updated, and well equipped. The grounds were always kept clean. Garbage and recycling was picked up every night for us. Wood was brought right to the sight for camp fires. The boats are well maintained with access to paddle boards, Kayaks and canoes. Boats were checked and fuelled nightly. The beach was clean and refreshing. We really enjoyed this week and already booked for next year. Overall, an excellent vacation. Very reasonable pricing .

We've never been to a place quite like this! Our family had a wonderful vacation here; swimming, canoeing, stargazing, wildlife watching, and just enjoying the silence and natural beauty. The owners, Candice and Owen, were very friendly and welcoming, helping us to get to know the lakes and area well. They gave us maps of the lakes, pointed out fishing spots, and made the motorboats, canoes, and kayaks easily available. The cottages and docks were clean and well renovated, cabin 8 easily slept our family of seven. Firewood was brought daily for campfires, and we were kept safe from bears with the nightly garbage pick-up. We were also able to take short day trips into North Bay and Sudbury for the museums and beaches, but it was always great to return to the peace and quiet of the resort.

We just spent a week at Northern Lights and had a great time. It's a super clean and cozy place. The owners Candace and Owen were friendly and really accommodating. Each cottage comes with a boat and motor. You can upgrade to a patio/pontoon boat or bass boat. FYI...the resort is situated on a very steep hill. People with mobility issues could be challenged but there are 4 cottages right on the water that might be better. Secondly there really is no beach. There is a place you can walk into the water but drops off quickly. No place for toddlers to sit on the shore and play in the sand. Other than that the swimming is fabulous. I tried to write a more detailed review but the resort is not listed on Tripadvisor.

Had a wonderfully tranquil and relaxing time at Northern Lights Resort. Did some fishing and just relaxing on the dock. So peaceful up there. I highly recommend anyone who wants to get away from busy life to check it out. The cabins were the perfect size. The owners were lovely and so helpful! They also have paddle boards and kayaks etc that are free to use which was really nice. Definitely going back next year, might even sneak in a fall visit!
