Stay Inn Muskoka - Gravenhurst, Ontario

We chose Stay Inn Muskoka for our short summer getaway and spent 4 amazing days there. The place is brand new, very clean and well organized. Having a Keurig coffee maker in the room was definitely a bonus.
The hotel is conveniently located within few minute walk from restaurants, brewery and grocery stores. We were also able to explore the area and found lots of beautiful hiking trails and beaches.
We will come back in the winter for some winter fun!

This place was excellent having two bedrooms and kitchen, dining room, living room, and reasonably priced. The only thing is there’s nothing in the kitchen no plates, knives forks or any utensils of any kind so you would have to bring everything with you. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Clean rooms, very minimal and good for a stop over if not a bit expensive. Communication about check in and everything after booking is non-existent which leads to some confusion. Its also difficult to contact them by phone or email. Overall, now that I know the process I'd stay again for a short trip in the area.

Made a reservation on the website. They sent me a confirmation with room code. I drove 2 hours to the hotel to punch in the code and realized somebody was in the room. On the website, it gave the appropriate date, but in actuality booked me for that present evening which is not what I was looking for. I guess it’s my fault as management dictated to me for not checking the confirmation. I guess I just assumed that there wouldn’t be any problems. But the management was nice enough to tell me that I was not getting a refund and that it was my fault.

We stay in Muskoka every year and this Summer we tried out Muskoka Inn as the pictures looked very appealing. I have to admit, this is one of the best Motels I’ve stayed in. It opened two weeks ago so all the furniture is new, walls freshly painted, smart TV, a phone to make calls, a fridge, towels that don’t smell like bleach and everything is just perfect! I would say it’s better than some hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is perfect—close to grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, Gull lake/beach and other amazing destinations. The rooms, service and location are all impressive and the nightly rate is cheaper than a hotel and worth it if you don’t use hotel swimming pools and gyms. There is no front desk so you have to call the number posted on Google. You get a pin texted to you that use to enter your room.

Clean modern rooms (2024). Mounted flat screens with Netflix and other services built in and ready to go. Ecobee thermostat, mini fridge, safe, microwave, coffee maker (no creamers). You'll hear a loud TV from next door but pretty quiet overall and comfortable beds. Checkin via text message was easy. Great pub across the street popular with locals.

The rooms are clean, and comfortable, nice amenities. The staff is friendly. The location is convenient and easy to find, with plenty of parking available. We were able to park our boat. highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in gravenhurst area.

Clean and quiet. Easy check-in/check-out. Well equipped with microwave, fridge and smart TV. Best option in the area. Would stay there again!
