We were there about 5 days ago, over the weekend. Lovely, big park with lots of trees. The lake water is clear and clean. Great pathway to walk or jog on. Lots of park benches along the pathway to sit kn and enjoy the view.
Plenty of picnic tables open and available.
The Gordon Lightfoot statue is in good condition.
Nearby beach available to swim and play.
Free public restrooms available.
Plenty of parking available.
Two baseball fields are there, one of them was occupied with people playing a game.
Squirrels, chipmunks, swans, ducks, geese can be seen.
Highly recommend this park, and a great place for a date or to bring family, or just be own your own and relax. Calm and peaceful.

Great experience. The vew of the lake was beautiful. Plenty of benches. The kids' play area was very good. Overall enjoyed the visit.

Had a pit stop here on the way back to Ajax, nice park with good areas for Picnics, if it wasn't super cold would have had a longer walk around. The beach area looks great too. Need to come back when the weather is better.

Best place for fall scenic view, about 20-25 mins walk through trails along couchiching lake. We have visited on Oct 20, it was full foliage.

This should be the pride of Orillia. What a beautifully manicured park with recreational facilities, multi-use trails, and tons of benches, right on the shores of Lake Couchiching. Check out the Gordon Lightfoot tributes for some extra points of interest.

Great location, good beach. The water is only a few feet deep and it has artificial sand, so no rocks. Only the one change station, community rooms not private rooms. No wash up pipe to wash the sand from your feet. The chip truck and ice cream store are onsite which helps.

A peaceful place for a summer stroll. The sunset was beautiful. It was windy and chilly on a late May day, liked walking there. Been there twice, afternoon and before sunset.

What a wonderful park. First time here while visiting Orillia, was looking for a nice spot for a run and this park caught my eye. Great pathway around the shoreline to downtown Orillia, and Ample FREE parking, as well as a community center that has public restrooms with a little restaurant in it as well. The path system is fantastic and has little info plaques along the way. Also out on the point is a tribute statue to Gordon Lightfoot! I highly recommend this park to any passing through the area. 😎
